The tent comes with everything needed to just set it up and go. It was very easy to put up and did not take long at all. Very durable and the dark room technology is definitely there(you really get darkness). We noticed the ability to expand the bag to replace the tent when not in use, a great feature by the way!! The overhead storage and side pockets are nice. Overall a great tent, and we are looking forward to our next trip out with it!!

The set-up time was great under 10 minutes out of the box. The tent was roomier then expected for me and my family of 5. I valued the dark room feature that blocked the brightness in the morning, providing a cooler and comfortable sleep. The tent was water proof and I didn't have any issues so far I used this twice for a few camping trips. If I had one recommendation it would be to go get yourself a Coleman dark room 6 person tent.

This tent is huge! We can easily and comfortably fit two adults and three preteen kids inside. We also placed a blow up queen sized mattress inside to test and it still had plenty of room to move around. I love how easy the tent was to set up. The poles are built into the tent so no worrying about losing one in between uses. I also really loved the dark room feature. Once all zippers are closed it is pitch black inside, no light gets in at all. The tent is also very easy to disassemble and in spite of how large the tent is is very compact and easy to store. The quality of this tent is really great and I know we have a blast using it for quite some time! I would highly recommend this tent!

My family used to go camping all the time when I was growing up and I remember the Coleman tent we had was so durable with plenty of room for a family of 5. This tent offers the same durable, spacious quality but the new darkroom technology is definitely a game changer and something I would have appreciated even as a kid. The pre-attached poles make this tent quick and easy to setup which is another thing I can appreciate.

This tent felt like it wouldnt withstand anymore wind then that. I am very disappointed as coleman USED to make good tents.

It took a couple of minutes longer than 5minutes but that's all. I think for me one of the greatest features of this tent is that it blocks the sunlight out. I love to sleep in late when I go camping. I also loved the side walls, lots of room to stand up and move around.

It was 3 kids and 2 adults and 3 animals. Room enough for everyone. Extremely easy set up in less than 5 minutes. Really awesome dark canopy which made it so dark in morning and that was great. We had great time and our kids didn't want to put it away when campout was done. The take down i swear was faster than putting up. A+++

Easy setup, even solo, thanks to pre-attached poles. Spacious inside – think family mansion for campers! ⛺️ Plus, darkroom tech blocks out sun, perfect for late sleepers and midday naps. But beware, it gets a bit stuffy on warm nights! Rainy days? No worries! This tent's got weatherproof seams and a strong frame. It's not the lightest, but for car camping, it's a breeze. And sure, there's no fancy vestibule, but pockets and overhead storage keep things organized. Overall, I love it for family trips and group adventures. Just pop it up, relax in the darkness, and let Mother Nature do her thing. 4 stars, bonus point for easy setup! + 1

Rated 1 out of 5 by Delani from Not for any season I’m actually annoyed enough to write a review. So this tent has a rain fly, any material under the rain fly is mesh, so it is super cold at night. We were camping last week in 90° weather, so we were frying in the day (because it retains the heat l) and we’re freezing at night because you’re in a covered patio rather than a tent. The door is also poorly designed. The zipper keeps getting caught and there isn’t a tie back for it or screen. You have a little triangle pocket to stuff it into. It also isn’t an easy 5 min put together as indicates. I’ve been camping my whole life and this was really fiddly to put together. The only plus was the dark design, which really worked well. My toddler napped in the day quite peacefully. Overall, it sucks though. Really poor for a Coleman and not worth the money.

I will say I am excited to try with my nieces and introduce them to camping and trust the Coleman brand to produce a solid product! Darkroom feature will be helpful in getting them used to our door life. Plus, a roomy 6 person tent makes this great for not only camping but why outdoor festival that you spend the night at. I'll try and update this in the summer when this gets put to good use!

Rated 5 out of 5 by HL PDX from Great family tent - roomy, easy to set up, and dry We've used this tent multiple times, from backyard camping to a weekend in PNW rainstorms and really appreciate its durability and ease of use. Keeping the sun out hasn't been a problem so I can't speak to that element of the Dark Room coverage, but we just got out of a weekend of coast rain and the interior of the tent stayed very dry. It was windy and I was worried about coverage on the side, but the fly held up excellently. It can easily fit an inflatable queen mattress, a Pack n Play, and another sleeping pad space with some room to spare!

This tent is easy to assemble and disassemble. It does great at reducing the sunlight that gets in during the day and has plenty of room. I enjoy the wider door and the near vertical walls, makes it easier to get in and out of, and more spacious.

My family of 4 loved this tent. The removable top is amazing. If you have clear skies and remove the top it is like sleeping under the stars without worrying about mosquitoes, other bugs and critters. With the top on and strapped down correctly the dark room effect is pretty awesome. We were able to sleep in a little later than normal due to the darkness of the tent.

It doesn’t take long to set up and gave us enough room for all four of us to hang out inside. We had a light sprinkle while we were out and we did not have any water in the tent at all.

Pole connections are rusty and corroded. The material they use isn't up to snuff and clearly not tested or they don't care. If they can't hold up in a box in a warehouse without starting to rot out, they definitely won't withstand the elements.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely ecstatic about my 6-Person Dark Room Skydome Camping tent in blue that I purchased a month ago! This was the best purchase I've me in a long time! The room in it is beyond words! It's 6 foot tall in the middle and can sleep 6. It was so easy to set up and take down. There was plenty of room for our whole family and it's so durable. It even has a cover for rain and you can tie it down in case the weather gets bad. My children and my basset hound had the absolute best time camping and because this tent was so durable and easy to set up and take down, we had lots of time to enjoy our little vacation. We have decided to take another camping trip soon and can't wait to use it again. My son has some health issues and this tent has Dark Room Technology which blocks 90% of the sunlight and reduces heat in the tent, which makes it better for people that have issues with the heat. This works amazingly too, because my son stayed cool and we were able to enjoy our trip because of this. It's also been designed and tested for storm conditions, which helps me breath much easier knowing we are safe. The amount of room in this tent is unlike any tent I have ever seen. The carrying bag made it so easy to take along, the wide door design made it easier to get in and out of, the storage pockets gave us room to put stuff out of the way, and the detachable rainfly gave me peace of mind. I felt so safe and secure and could focus on my trip and having fun with the kids knowing we chose this tent! We love it!

We camped on Vancouver island in July 2022 and the fly kept the tent dark and cool so we could sleep in…..like until 10am! CONS - The 2 poles are permanently attached to the tent, this makes it tricky to get folded up and into the carry bag. - The outside material on the door will jam in the zipper. Align the zippers where the 2 flaps meet and this seems to help with not getting the zippers stuck. - Hard solo setup Enough room for a single cot and double byob bed. We stashed our gear in a smaller backpacking tent when setup for longer than 1 night. Can’t do a 4.5 star rating, I feel over time the Zipper will break due to catching in the door flap material.

On the second camping trip, we took it out of the bag and one of the necessary clips on the back leg that attaches the pole to the tent was broken. Why these important connectors are made of plastic is beyond me. Currently sitting in the tent with the rain fly off because it is windy and the corner pole is jerryrigged and we are just praying it will make it through a second night. Beyond disappointed at this expensive price point. Things shouldn't break after one use.

It really was a snap to set up, because the poles are sewn into the tent. But by the same token, it actually made it really difficult to get back into the bag! The tent itself is very spacious, which my tall husband quite enjoyed. The wind was really whipping the canvas outside when we set it up, so I am a little worried the height may work against it, and it won’t withstand inclement weather. We shall see!

It is a five minute set up so easy that my child did it for me it is huge. The tent is quite large definitely able to fit six person. It is a dome in a dark room so high ceilings. Plenty of space definitely dark blocks out 90% of the sunlight verified highly recommend Coleman is a great brand, I can imagine this lasting as a lifetime of camping trips

It’s pretty big honestly and it said it could fit two queen beds inside of it but I didn’t believe it until I set it up! I like how dark it keeps it inside the tent as well makes it easier to sleep in! We will continue using this tent for years to come! Rated 1 out of 5 by DMAofGR from Very Sad. My bad. I bought this tent and had high hopes. Getting older I now car camp and thankfully also purchased a cot. I am glad I did because I am sure it saved me from drowning (just joking). This tent is not seam sealed and the fly is not large enough to protect the sides in a rainstorm. It has a bathtub floor. During my first night I had that rainstorm. The inadequate fly allowed the rain to run down the sides of the tent that did not have sealed seams. It leaked so badly that the bathtub floor did indeed act as a bathtub and allowed all of the rain to gather inside of the tent. I picked up my gear and placed it on my cot. The next morning, I had to literally bail the tent out. I have since purchased 3rd party seam sealer and applied it twice but am still hesitant to use this tent in any inclement weather.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Go Go from AWESOME TENT I don't have any experiences in camping. This is a new world for our family. I was impressed the quality and durability thus far. Easy setup. I only thing was the main Body Poles were found rusty and dirty on delivery suspecting that it was opened and used by priored customer. Reached out to customer service and in the process of getting replacement. Overall, I really like this tent and love the dark room technology. Hopefully it will hold up over time.
