Description

Set up camp in a compact, yet spacious tent with the Coleman® Sundome® 6-Person Dome Tent. If it rains, the WeatherTec™ system with its patented welded floors and inverted seams will help you stay dry. A ground vent and two windows increase air circulation to help you stay cool and comfortable. The compact dome shape stands up to wind, and you'll get extra weather protection from a door awning and an included rainfly. Setup is simple with snag-free, continuous pole sleeves. Inside, there's e[delete]ugh room to stretch out on two queen-sized airbeds, and storage pockets help to keep small items organized. Rated 1 out of 5 by Colemantentpolessuck from Elastic strings holding poles have detached After one use last season the tent and poles were stored in their respective pouches and bags. They were put away in dry condition and were stored inside a garage. Upon attempting to put the 6 person ten back together the elastic strings holding the poles together had become detached. Unfortunately there is no way reattach the strings making putting the tent up impossible. Fortunately, this was done at home and not in the woods or in an isolated area. On my second attempt to speak to a Coleman representative I was able to get through by phone. The end result has been a pledge to send me 3 replacement kits which I hope will arrive shortly and will solve the problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great value, best tent I've owned. We are now into our 4th year of using this tent every summer. It is perfect for my son and I, easy set up (except trying to put the fly on by yourself when it's windy), tons of space, can fit 2 queen sized airbeds nicely or 1 with all of our gear. We have been through winds of up to 45kph and periods of mild to heavy rain over the years; it has kept us dry and comfortable. The 6ft. centre height is a huge plus, gives us all the room we need to get dressed in the morning without feeling cramped. Never had an issue with the poles like some others have posted. My only recommendation to Coleman about this tent would to in the future, reinforce the seams on the lower right hand portion of the door. Aside from that, this is our go to tent and Coleman is our go to company for all our camping needs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Nate from So disappointed I really wanted to give one star; however, i have owned the previous model of this tent for two season and it has been sturdy and overall decent. I must say, I never experienced rain as heavy as our last trip, but being the first time the tent has seen rain I can say it did not hold up as it should have. Seams all over the tent we’re seeping, even with a tarp covering majority of the tent. The air mattress being close to the tent soaked the sheet. Overall, not happy with this tent. And for only two seasons of mild camping, I’m sorry to say I will have to buy another tent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Maple Camper from Does its job...just about The tent was easy to set up (it's a 2person job though). Everything there in the pack...almost, you'll need a mallet though. On the very first day of camping, we ran into some serious thunderstorms and we were in the path of the wind. So it was great to see that the tent survived 40+kmph wind gusts and the rain. Where we were seriously disappointed was it still got all wet inside. The funniest thing though was that the bottom was dry from the outside. Haven't the foggiest idea why the inside was all wet. Note: Buy a relevant sized footprint for the tent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sydney from Fairly affordable, great quality Tent held up to some of the most intense rain storms I've experienced while camping, not a single drop of water made it inside the tent! A feature to be aware of is the vent at the rear of the tent, it does not zip closed so this tent would not be ideal for camping in extremely cold areas. It doesn't pack up very easily, but it is definitely worth the money.

Came accorss a great deal with a boots and hearts promo code so I gave it a try. Tent is great! So much space and head room! Has been through rain without any coming inside! I must also comment on how fast this product arrived- I was shocked it came in quicker than it would have if I had gotten the express shipping. Very impressed and very happy with this product! Would definitely recommend and purchase from Coleman again in the future !

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jazz'n'Lisa from Quick setup, stayed dry This tent is super easy to set up. With two of us it was up in less than 10 minutes. It's a squeeze to get 4 people plus gear in. I'm not sure 2 double mattresses would fit. We had several significant storms and inside the tent stayed dry, even where things were touching the side of the tent. The ventilation is pretty good. Due to the small vestibule, it's possible to have the windows open about half way even while it's raining. The door zipper gets caught frequently, but it's a rare door that doesn't. I wish Coleman would put their hinged door on all their tents. The pockets and the loop for hanging a lantern are functional. The carry bag is expandable, so the tent does actually fit back in it. Put the rain fly in first for best success. Overall, good value for the money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by LadyDi from Wrong Size Cover for Tent We are happy with our tent, the Sundome 6 person tent by Coleman; however, the top piece for the tent is not the right size, it is too small. Luckly, I had a 10 X 12 tarp that we used to put on top of the tent. Unfortunately I do not have a receipt. It was bought at the beginning of 2019 for my boyfriend's birthday in May. Last week was the 1st time using it. Could you please send me the proper size top. When I receive the proper cover, I can send you the one we have.
