Portable but spacious!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tent is much more portable than my previous 8 person tent. I love that the poles come pre-attached saving set up and break down time. I'm a tall guy so I really appreciate the generous 6'4" standing room. In Washington it's hard to go camping without a little rain so the wind ready structure and water resistant seams are awesome! Not to mention, the colors are very attractive and fit in with the forest well! We're a Coleman family and we're all very excited to go camping in our brand new tent!

Perfect tent with easy set-up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family has never owned a tent or gone camping before, but our 9 and 6 year old were begging for a tent. We all just loved this tent and used it to camp in our backyard. It was super spacious, plenty of room to stand inside the tent, and super easy set-up. It says 5 minute set up, although it took us about 10 minutes. Hopefully with more practice we can do it in the 5 minute recommendation. The only part we struggled on a bit, was packing up the tent and having it fit inside the storage bag. We got it in mostly, but couldn't zipper up a small part since it was too bulky. Overall, the tent was a hit!

Setup design is an absolute trainwreck
The poles are permanently attached to one side of the tent. After untangling the shock cords and fitting all the fiberglass ends into the aluminum sleeves, you have to clip a bunch of hooks to the poles. They can't just slide because of the aluminum sleeves on the poles and there aren't any markings to show where the hooks need to be positioned. If you start the hooks from the top, you have to keep adjusting the spacing. If you start at the bottom, you can't access the hooks at the top. All this could have been avoided by NOT BUILDING 1/2 OF EACH POLE INTO THE TENT, or at least marking where on each pole the hooks needed to be clipped. Even with 2 people, setup is a nightmare.

Big tent, easy set up.
I am a small woman 5 ft tall ,experienced camper and will often go solo.I only needed help picking up one of the opposite sides to help raise the tent. Due to its weight and dimensions not sure if I can do that part alone,I will see in the future if I am indeed alone. The fly is easy to attach. It is our 3rd Coleman tent. Our favorite is MEADOW FALLS 5 person,no longer made. The materials are the usual Coleman tent fabrics and ventilation is vast due to the size,I am sure with a tight setup and staked out it will hold up in a storm. My usual complaint with gear holds here too, THE BAG NEEDS TO BE A BIT LARGER FOR STORAGE.

Affordable and great for family
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I choose the Coleman-6 person skydome tent because it said 5 minutes to set up and it looked big with more head room then most. It is also a fair price. Well it is light weight enough to carry. I am a 61 year old woman. I opened the tent and it was not too hard to set up. It took me about 15 minutes but don't forget I am an older woman. A young man could have done it in 5. It is very roomy and held 4 of us nicely. Only used it for 1 camping trip so far but seemed sturdy enough that it is going to last us for a while. I would recommend this to my friends and family. Coleman has always been a name I trust and like.

Excellent size and speedy set up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Coleman 8-person Skydome tent is amazing. I haven't camped in what seems like forever, and haven't owned a tent in probably just as long. So I was hesitant when I read that set up takes under 5 minutes. While it did take longer than 5 minutes the 1st time, i'm sure with repeated use, I will get better and quicker. I love the larger door size to get air mattresses in with ease, and the head room! So much space! Again, I haven't camped in a long time, so take that for what it's worth, but our family comfortably fit without feeling like we were on top of each other.

Great camping
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 6-Person Skydome™ Camping Tent is a great tent to camp in. I had no problems setting it up by myself. I threw a queen size air mattress in it and still had room for a bag chair and table. I was able to sit back and relax before turning in for a great night's sleep. I would recommend thus tent for anyone.

Fly leaks
I purchased this tent for a camping trip in northern Ontario. During the dry days the tent was excellent, very spacious, great pockets on the inside for storage, easy set up. However once the rain began the tent began to leak. I had to set a tarp up over top of the tent to keep everything dry. As an experienced camper this was no issue, however it is a bit of an inconvenience as one would generally expect a fly to protect your tent from a little bit of rain. The rain went right through the fly and began to drip into my tent making everything inside damping and moist. If you are not experienced with tarp set ups, I would not recommend this tent as it does not seem to be water roof.

Great tent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Coleman 8 person tent complimentary in exchange for my honest review. This tent is super spacious and perfect for my family. We have a family of 4 with a baby and a 4 year old so we have a lot of stuff that we need to bring when we go camping and this worked out perfectly for us. It is also really easy to set up. My husband and I were able to get it up in less than 15 minutes. I would highly recommend this tent.

We have not used this tent yet. Our RZR camp trip in not till end of July. Not sure how we will like it. It was ok to set up but longer than 5 min. NO instructions sent except in foreign language. SERIOUSLY!!! And instructions for folding it back up to get in the bag is a joke! four pictures......that leave a lot to be desired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

fast set up!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family of 5 comfortably fit in this tent as well as our belongings. We do pack minimally so that helped with the room but all in all this is a very nice tent. Its big, easy to set up, and has a sun roof. We loved being able to look at the stars while staying protected from bugs. There are pockets inside the tent which was very convenient because our phones and wallets were always in an easy spot to find. The best part about this tent is the easy set up and take down. I had tents in the past that would take over an hour to set up. This one takes less than 10! I highly recommend every chapter invest in this tent. You wouldn't regret it.

Shrinkflation
The 6-Person Skydome™ Camping Tent was almost as expected, only the Rain Fly was disappointing. I expected the Rain Fly to extend out from above the front door of the tent more than the Rain Fly I received, while my older Colmen tent 's Rain Fly extended much further.

Quick and easy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 6 person tent works perfectly for my family of three and leaves us plenty of room to keep all of our gear organized. We usually have our large dog with us too and it is still nice and roomy. The set up of the tent is super quick and easy. I really like how the poles are pre-attached so I know exactly what goes where. There are pockets on the inside which are handy, especially for wallets, phones and sunglasses. It has a nice wide doorway and is taller than most tents inside which helps prevent us from having to bend over a lot. The zipper works great and the tent is made of nice quality fabric that doesn't let in moisture! We love it.

Poor quality. Poor ventilation. Annoying zipper.
Got this for my family of four. Took it out at the campsite for the first time when we got there and two of the clips that hold the pre attached poles were broken. Had no choice but to go with it, they weren’t making the tent fall or anything. Three weeks later we get to out next campsite and one of the pre attached poles has completely snapped inside so we had to figure out how to re thread the snapped elastic through the entire pole with two toddlers running around. The zipper gets stuck CONSTANTLY. Just would not recommend this tent to anyone unless you want to end up in tears.

Good size but longer set up.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a spacious tent and would definitely work for out family of 4. We haven't used it out in the woods but in the backyard. It took longer to put it up than 5 minutes. But I don't have much experience setting it up. So it might go quicker next time. Did not get to test it in the rain either. But seems like a decent tent and will hold all of us when we're ready to go camping. My only complaint is the set up time. And the instructions are so so.

Terrible Tent
This tent didn't even make it through one night. The wind blows and it falls over. The 2nd time using the tent there was a small storm, rain and wind, and the tent was broken and was never able to use it again. Don't waste your money or time! I had to carry my kids and all of our belongings in the rain, in the middle of the night.

Easy to put up
Went camping for the first time in many years so decided to buy a new tent that was not going to take forever to set up. It held up great in the rain and it served it's purpose. It wasn't as big as I anticipated. We had a queen size mattress and if we were to put another there would definitely not be any room to walk around or get dressed anywhere other than on the bed. There needs to be a couple more places to stake the floor down because there was so much access that we had to be careful not to trip on it. My zipper also got stuck on the zipper cover over and over and over again. I need two hand to zip and unzip every time I got in. I'm happy I have a tent so that I can camp again .. it's good for a starter tent.

Very poor quality.
Pitched this tent as a practice run the day I purchased it. The seams are not strong at all and are ripping and are ripped. I will be returning this product to the store and will never purchase a Coleman product again. Buyer beware.... Coleman isn't the company it use to be.

A good size
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh man. I love the color of this tent. It really stands out. I also like the height. It's tall enough for me to stand up in (I'm 5'7). If you're over 6' you might have to stoop a bit.
Setting up was actually pretty simple. I did it by myself, but as with most tents it would have been easier with two people. The poles are attached on two corners, which I'm not sure made set up faster but was great for breaking down. The poles are entirely held in place with clips, with no sleeves at the top. That did actually speed up set up. I was able to pop the two middle clips on, and everything else was easy peasy from there. Again though, it made break down so much faster. It took me minutes to break down and roll it up.
The door is a bit awkward. It's a door, so whatever, but it wasn't my favorite. Bonus though, when you're rolling the tent back up it's positioned in such a way that it lets you squeeze any trapped air out. Interior has plenty of air flow, even with the rain fly on. It's a very bright tent though, so bring your eye mask if you don't want to be up with the sun.
We had this up through a pretty nasty storm and did get some seeping at the seams. I'll seal them before taking it out again. I always have to with Coleman tents, so no surprise there. The tent otherwise weathered the storm beautifully though.

Terrible Tent
This tent is trash. It’s very poorly designed. The structural design of the tent can not withstand even a gentle breeze without caving in. We followed the instructions step by step, used the guy wires provided and it still caved in when the wind blew. I was forced to use makeshift guy wires out of paracord to keep it upright through the night. The tent is attractive on the shelf but you’ll regret your purchase if you’re not camping in a controlled environment.

Nice and durable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first tent and I like it. My first thoughts was I really didn’t think it was as big as it is. A lot of space both width and height. I love that it has a few pockets inside the tent. At first I did attempt to put it up by myself because I didn’t see the directions attached to the inside of the bag. I was not successful but that’s my fault. Once I had some help it was very easy to do. And it didn’t take 5 minutes but it didn’t take long at all. I enjoyed some outside time in my new tent listening to the wonders of nature. Taking it apart was also easy. I just had issues stuffing it back into the carry bag but maybe I didn’t fold it correctly but I got it in the bag.

I love love love it!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never owned a tent before, so I have nothing to compare my Coleman 6 person Skydome Tent to. I totally love it!! it is so roomy and I can actually stand straight up in it, it was sorta raining real light when we put it up, which by the way was soooo easy and quick to set it up, we never had one drop of moisture inside the tent. I was just as comfortable as being in my own home. Fabulous!!! I'll never have to "rough it" in the outdoors, as long as I have my Coleman 6-person Skydome Camping tent.

Great tent! Lousy carry bag
I only gave this three stars because I have literally only used it once, and the zipper on the carry bag broke (the zipper pull came completely off). Now I will have to try to store this tent without the original carry bag, or will have to hold the carry bag together with bungee cords. It's impractical to send the whole tent back for warranty just for the bag, and you cannot purchase the carry bag separately. Disappointed.

Great tent ... poor replacement pole process
The tent is a great tent and was recommended to us by another you purchased. However , the support from Coleman for a bent pole was not helpful. this took it from a 5 to a 3 . I ended up buying a coleman pole replacement kit (used the model and make from your AI support site) . Excited to get the pole replacement kit only to find the pole segments were of a different size. I made it work only to find my solution made it impossible to get the pole back in the carrying sack. So... I ended up just buying a new tent. Tent great ... support process 1 ... hence a 3 overall rating. Plus a paid for double (bought two tents). I like Coleman but the experience not great. However ... hope to watch the meteor shower on Aug 12 and 13 in the tent.

Terrible in any wind
First time setting it up, it folded over in a wind gust. Had to strategically place the tie downs and it seemed OK after that. Second time setting up we had a stronger wind come by. It bent two poles at the metal joint. The bent poles then tore through the rain fly. The tent was completely destroyed after two uses. If you think you are going to have any wind, don't buy this tent.

6 PERSON SKYDOME
This tent was purchased to accompany my 4 person Skydome when I need more space. Absolutely Love It!! This 6 person Skydome tent boast all the bells and whistles of the Coleman Skydome Series. The color combo (I chose Blackberry to distinguish it from the Blue Nighhts 4 person)
Its easy set up for a weekend get away, but large enough for an extended stay. Praise Coleman for their wonderful *bathtub* floor, I've NEVER gotten wet while camping...and I've done some wicked (hurricane) camping trips!
Love it. Highly recommend it!

Worst Tent Ever
We used this tent for the first time this weekend. And storm rolled through and even when the wind was just picking up, the tent collapsed on us sending myself and 2 kids panicking to find shelter. Everything inside was soaked and the whole bottom of the tent was filled with pools of whatever. Will never trust or buy coleman anything ever again.
