Affordable and durable!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never been camping before. My three kids have been asking to go so i needed to find the perfect tent. I am so happy we went to why this one. The ease of assembling this is unmatched. We had it up In 15 mins. That includes me reading instructions. So far we have used it about 4 times. Twice in grandpas backyard, once at the beach and once in a real camping environment. It’s so roomy and there’s plenty of space for our family of 5. You won’t regret this purchase!

Girl Scout Camping
We bought these tents to replace some of our Girl Scout troops older tents. We use them for troop camping trips with 4 girls and gear per tent. Like the extra head room and the poles attached to the tent itself. We purchased better stakes than the ones provided. We hope to get several years worth of use for our troop.

Spacious and convenient poles

This tent is far superior to my previous coleman tent. I love it and we love camping in it. There are many pockets for storage.

Lasted one setup before poles broke
This lasted one set up before the elastic that holds the tent poles together broke in one of the sides. I rethreaded the polls onto the broken elastic and tied it in the middle, but I don’t know if it will hold next time I go camping. It did keep the rain out the one time I got to use it before it broke.

Don’t buy
I’m current in the tent with my family holding up the poles from the inside so it doesn’t collapse. Any breeze blows the tent over. All the other tent. in the camp site are fine. 10mph -19 wind gust this is going to be a long night. The center fell on our heads.

Quick & Easy Set Up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family does a lot of camping during the year and I'm really surprised at how quickly this tent sets up. Took us a little over 5 minutes to set up, but that's the quickest we ever set one up. Next time I know it'll take us about 5 minutes or less. It's also so easy to put away.
This 8-person tent is very roomy and there is plenty of space for my family. Very well made and durable it'll last me a long time. I'm very impressed with it.

Easy to Assemble
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the tent is easy to assemble (took my wife and i less than 15 minutes w/o the rain flap, another 15 for it). The poles feel sturdy and generally well built.
The biggest issue is the size of the floor space. We knew six people was not realistic but we were hoping we could fit four (two adults two kids) on mattress pads and have space for gear. Unfortunately this wasn't the case as the mattress pads ended up shoulder to shoulder.

What a great tent!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tent is actually amazing. I was really happy with how big it was. Setting it up was a breeze. The poles already came attached at the sides, which is great for a couple reasons. You can't lose the poles, and it makes for faster set up. It did take a couple of people to set it up due to how long the poles were, but it wasnt hard. We set it up without any instructions in no time. Another thing that is great about the set up process is that there are clips to put the main frame into instead of fabric. That made it so much easier than trying to wiggle poles through to the other side. Even the cover over the top had velcro to attach it which was super convenient. The awning that went above the entrance was the only place that had to be set up with poles going through a tube of fabric, however it went through with no hangups on the first try, and had two eyelits to put the poles through very easily. Another great feature for this tent was the extra shelving they provide to put your gear into such as hats. It's a great storage option. It had a huge entrance unlike most other tents that only open halfway. There was an ability to fully open the entrance and when closed you can make it a screen door. There was even a feature of tent material to put in front of the entry for the shoes or so you don't track dirt and mud everywhere. The room inside was very spacious and we could stand with no problems. Overall it was as easy to take down as it was to put up. Everything even fit inside the bag afterwards. Most tents cant fit back into the bag! I am very pleased with this tent and will definitely make this my number one choice when camping!

Great tent! Just don’t put the silver rain flap on the ground in 80 degree weather while putting up the tent or whatever you put on it (like my favorite shoes) will melt!

I'm not impressed.
Only 1 window and a sketchy zipper. Took about 15 minutes to put up the first time with 2 people. Been tent camping for 46 years. Huge door.

Great tent

We have a family of 4 with a baby and a 4 year old so we have a lot of stuff that we need to bring when we go camping and this worked out perfectly for us. It is also really easy to set up. Can't believe my eyes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently received my 6 person skydome camping tent have not had a chance to set it up yet due to the weather. But as soon as the weather changes going to go camping. Can not wait from what i read about it and looked at it is a good quality fabric and my brother has one he got along time ago still uses it so i know it will last a long time if taken care of just love it and can not wait to be able to use it. On the top you can leave it open to watch the at night or put the cover over the top. It has enough windows for air flow so you do not get hot also has a little lip in front so the rain does not run inside. Although i always lay a tarp under my tent to prevent water coming threw the bottom old trick my dad told me. It will be used greatly and as soon as it dries up.

I needed enough room for my family for our camping trip that's exactly what I got I was so excited !!.. comes with the poles that are very flexible and sturdy to hold up the tent , very easy setup and tear down !!. I truly enjoy the way the topper goes over for rainy days and gives you a nice arch in the front for shelter , comes with very sturdy pegs to hold everything in place has very good breathable mesh on half the tent and it fits two twin size air mattresses and one queen size that is exactly what we we're looking for . Inside the tent comes with very nice size pockets to store your items all around this is the perfect tent for your camping needs and is made with great quality so it doesn't leak inside !!..

I also love how roomy this tent is. I like that it has more room to stand unlike most tents. I also love that it is weather proof and can withstand wind and it does not leak. It is also easy to take down when you are finished with using it. I love that the bag has an expander to be able to put it up in the bag easier after using. Most tents are hard to put back in the bag after use but not this one. I also love the color and design of this tent. If anyone is looking for a sturdy, easy to put up tent for camping this is the tent for you. You can not go wrong getting this for your purchasing needs. I recommend anyone and everyone to get this tent.

Great tent!

Nice and roomy!!

The tent is huge and I can easily stand in it without having to bend over. The instructions were easy to follow and I was able to set it up all by myself within a matter of minutes. OK for light camping
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Coleman 6 person Skydome tent and I want to say first and foremost that I love Coleman products, always have, always will. This tent is a good tent for light camping or backyard overnights for the kids. Its a nice size but I don't think you could have more than 3 people in it comfortably and less if you have the blow up mattresses. The only way I could see getting six in it would be all kids, no bags or gear. Getting the tent put up is always a struggle for me (as with all tents) so I can't even say that this was something I thought I would be able to do quickly but an expert camper might not have any issues but I struggled same as always so nothing about this one seemed any easier to me. The tent looks great but the material itself seemed a bit lacking, I cant imagine this would do hardcore camping trips without some kind of rips or tears in the material, it seems a bit thin. The flooring part that comes up the bottom sides is thicker and keeps the ground moisture out and I think would be great if you got caught in some rain. Overall I like this tent and will use it for those spur of the moment trips for fishing or hiking because its very compact and easy to haul with the bag it comes in. And I will let the grandkids sleep in the backyard in it.

Great tent

We had room to put a blow up mattress on one side and have all put clothes and stuff on the other without having to tuck in our bags under the foot of the blow up bed like in our other tent. It’s very roomy and I could stand up in the center perfectly fine. I like that it blocked out the sun in the morning better than other tents I’ve had.

Very spacious

And once we had it up it was very durable and so big!!! My kid and my self had so much fun in it , we could have easily fit 4 more people !!!! This tent let in so much rain. The seals are weak, the rain fly ripped after 2 uses, the poles never break down so you’re able to fit them back into the bag. If the storage pouches are too weighed down (2 iphones, 1 wallet, and 2 headlamps???), the poorly designed rain fly lets water in & it just streams down into whatever you’re storing. Truly a poorly designed/engineered tent. We threw it away after TWO uses. Sad.

More Headroom!

The 10 ft by 8 ft 6 inches fits 2 queen airbeds. The Coleman weathertec system allows it to withstands wind up to 35 mph. Tub-like floor, patened conner welds and inverted seams keep the water out. Protection from light to heavy stoms.
