I understand you&#39;re having an issue with a broken elastic in one of the poles. Here are some steps to help you repair it:&#10;&#10;Steps to Repair the Elastic:&#10;1- Gather Materials: You will need a new piece of shock cord (elastic), scissors, a lighter, and a paper clip or similar tool.&#10;2- Remove the Old Elastic: Carefully cut and remove the broken elastic from the pole sections. Make sure to note the length and any knots or attachment points.&#10;3- Prepare the New Elastic: Cut a piece of new shock cord to the same length as the old one. Slightly melt the ends with a lighter to prevent fraying.&#10;4- Thread the New Elastic: Straighten a paper clip and create a small hook at one end. Use this to thread the new elastic through the pole sections. It might be helpful to do this one section at a time.&#10;5- Secure the Ends: Once the elastic is threaded through all sections, tie a secure knot at one end. If the poles have a ball at one end that can&#39;t be removed, tie the knot on the inside of the pole so it won&#39;t slip out.&#10;6- Test the Repair: Make sure the elastic is taut but not overstretched. The poles should snap back together easily when you assemble the tent.&#10;&#10;If you encounter any issues or need further assistance, please feel free to contact Coleman customer service for additional support.&#10;Have a great day! &#10;Coleman Consumer Care <div class="bvseo-author">Answered by: Coleman Consumer Team</div> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2024-07-12</div> </div> </div> <div class="bvseo-question-answer" data-questionid="4507965"> <h2 class="bvseo-question"> How do you ventilate this tent? The two tiny vents at the top do nothing for air flow. Please advise. </h2> <div class="bvseo-question-detail"> </div> <div class="bvseo-author">Asked by: hube</div> <div class="bvseo-answer" data-answerid="3283645"> Dear Hube,&#10;&#10;Thank you for reaching out regarding your 6-person SKYDOME Full Fly Vestibule tent. We understand the importance of proper ventilation for comfort during your camping trips. Here are some suggestions to improve the airflow in your tent:&#10;&#10;** Ventilation Tips:&#10;1- Utilize All Available Vents: Ensure that all vents, including the ones at the top, are fully open. Sometimes, adjusting the positioning of the tent can also help maximize the effectiveness of these vents.&#10;2- Open Doors and Windows: If your tent has any doors or windows, open them partially to create a cross-breeze. This can significantly improve airflow.&#10;3- Check for Additional Ventilation Options: Some tents come with hidden or less obvious ventilation options. Double-check the user manual to ensure you haven&amp;rsquo;t missed any features.&#10;&#10;** DIY Ventilation:&#10;1- Back Wall Modification: If you feel confident, you might consider adding a zipper down the middle of the back wall to create an additional ventilation point. However, this could potentially void any warranty or damage the tent if not done correctly.&#10;2- Portable Fan: Using a battery-operated or solar-powered fan can enhance airflow. Place it strategically to ensure the best circulation.&#10;&#10;** Placement of the Tent: Position your tent in a way that catches natural breezes. Setting up near shaded areas can also help keep the temperature down.&#10;&#10;** Use a Tarp or Rainfly Strategically: If the rainfly is removable, consider partially removing it when the weather is clear to allow more air to pass through the tent.&#10;We hope these suggestions help improve the ventilation in your 6-person SKYDOME Full Fly Vestibule tent. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.&#10;Have a great day! &#10;Coleman Consumer Care. <div class="bvseo-author">Answered by: Coleman Consumer Team</div> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2024-07-11</div> </div> </div> <div class="bvseo-question-answer" data-questionid="4296556"> <h2 class="bvseo-question"> How is this a 6 man when it appears to have only .5ft larger foot print than your 4 man version.
