Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best ever! Virtually indestructible! I used other "lesser" pegs and they bent or broke on the first use. I've been reusing these for years (about 20 uses) and they are still excellent with only a couple that are slightly bent and one has half a broken plastic piece (my crooked hammer hits). That being said, the plastic is sufficiently thick and sturdy, or I would've broken all of them (seriously) with my crooked hits. I've used them on extremely hard ground without a problem (except for a lot of exertion on the hammer). If you hit them hard enough, they'll work their way around stubborn underground rocks. They go through tree roots, too, but are HARD to get out (won't do that again)!! Mine have bright orange plastic tops, easy to locate and they never get left behind. I wouldn't ever buy another style and recommend these to everyone.
