Rated 2 out of 5 by from Loved but but broke quickly I have had this stove a year and used it s dozen times. Worked great. I even kept it in the protective carrying case but the other day I tried to use it and the threads wouldn't allow the propane tank holder to screw on to the stove. I've taken good care and had used it the week before. My son-in-law has had the same problem. When this happens the stove can't work. Should not have happened. I have two of the old kinds that use Coleman fuel and the are 50 years old and still work great. This version using propane is not reliable. I would hate to be out in the woods and be counting on this one for cooking dinner. Fortunately we had a charcoal grill to cook on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use, good flame adjustability I have had this stove for 3 years now, using it a few times a year, and it works great. I added a 5 lb propane tank and hose so I could use refillable propane tanks and get a longer burn time. Hate disposable tanks. I also got the griddle for it which I used for eggs, toast and even as a disperser to very gently warm things. I can get from a full boil to a fairly gentle simmer with these burners. Nice, light and compact. Only very minor grievance is where you store the propane tank tube that connects to the outside. It just kinda flops around inside the stove, but this is nit picky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable, care free With hurracaine Maria hitting us at 150mph, this Triton was our main stove for 40 days when the power grid dropped.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good stove, with one bad exception Cooks fast, lightweight and clean up is a breeze. The big downfall of this stove are the control knobs. First time using it one knob stripped and rendered one burner useless. Why this was not designed with a D shaft verses a star pattern on the control shafts is beyond me. I take excellent care of my camping equipment, this should never have happened

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost 5-star Coleman Triton camp stove w/o built-in ignitor Plus: +Burners that go to "11" +Regulator. I don't know about claimed Perfect heat/flow tech, but I mostly use this stove @7,500-12K elevations of Colorado in cool and sometimes freezing temperatures, and I've taken it to low and hot Big Bend NP desert areas and it has performed flawlessly. +Wind shielding +Portability +Simplicity Minus: -Grate. This Coleman stove was designed to accommodate an optional lightweight, non-stick aluminum griddle that can stow inside. I don't plan to purchase one, but this griddle use objective likely influenced its grate layout. It's unclear if this led to, imo, the following problem: It has straight bars that bisect the centers of curved-inward spaces over its burners. Unfortunately, if these bars aren't level with but higher than nearby curved bars, small pots/kettles/skillets/camp cups, can high-center and tilt. -Oversize plastic burner control knobs that protrude from stove edge beyond flush home range style, which makes them vulnerable to being damaged on a mobile stove even when it's inside a travel/storage case. There is already an indention in stove body at that point so a burner control redesign would be straight-forward. For ex., metal controls that have a fold-out/fold back flat, thumb key design, or a low-profile metal dial would be so much better. I have o.arthritis in my hands and I could operate those or other method. It's just that no stove owner should even have to think about whacking plastic b.knob on on a park table, tailgate, or maybe a slip of cast iron skillet. Dear Coleman: This model -and maybe all Coleman camp stoves- could use a travel/storage case redesign fabricated with mixed materials, perhaps with a regulator storage pocket instead of having to use the inside stove rattle hole. And you could skip the bottle pouches and most users would be fine with that tradeoff for an overall smaller, fitted package that's easier to stow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best camp stove I've owned [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been camping all my life & have always used a Coleman stove (our first stove used white gas & you had to pump the canister). I was blown away when I first used the Triton Propane stove on how easy it was to set up & light the burner. Just a push of the button & it was ready! Water boiled so fast, I was caught off guard & had to scramble to find my instant coffee.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice little stove, easy to use, store and clean I bought for camping. It is very easy to use. The side and back panel keep the wind out. I was able to use 2 large cast iron skillet at one time

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Got the job done with less hassle Stove was so much easier when exhausted from a long hike than making a wood fire and easier to control the heat output than the alcohol stove used when backpacking (the recycled aluminum soda can type). The price was more reasonable than for other brands with fewer BTUs. The only negative aspect was the arm holding the propane canister. I had trouble getting it tight enough to hold the can at the weird angle required and not "drooping" from weight.
