Rated 2 out of 5 by from Flame is either blow-torch or off and more probs While the construction seems very solid and this stove is great for boiling big pots of water, it is generally useless for anything else because the flame control is so touchy - it's either very-high, high, or off. YouTube videos show older models that you could take the valve knobs off, pull out the stems, clean them, then have a wide range of very-low to very-high. With this model, the handle assembly prevents access to make that basic repair. As others report, the girdle doesn't store properly. Please post how to get at the valves to do the simple cleaning or do you really need to take the entire thing apart?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome 3 burner with great low flame [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this stove two years and it works great. Easy start, great flame control. Hot flame boils large pot of water in Colorado mountains at high altitude.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Missing part and Griddle won't fit I opened up my new stove, I got as a birthday 2 years ago, at the camp site and its missing a leg. I checked everywhere for it, there is a bag with 3 legs and 4 screws. I imagine the legs are needed for proper airflow and to prevent burning surfaces. Fortunately we had a single burner stove with us as well. Also, when I went to pack it back up, the lid cam nowhere near closing properly. Basically I had to store the griddle by itself. Durability looks good, but I can't really say as I can't use it in this condition. Really disappointing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stove worked well on a recent camping trip. Agree with another reviewer, the round burners tend to burn hot which is good for boiling water, just closely watch anything else you are cooking, as it can burn. Also bought the large carrying case (fit perfectly) and the griddle (cooked bacon and pancakes very well). Pleased with the purchase and definitely recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Stove / with 1 issue I've had my stove for about 8 months now, and it's proven itself as durable and works very well in mild winds and works great with my cast iron cookware. But like other reviews have said this stove isn't subtle when it comes to heat. It's either full afterburners, take this sucker to mach 3 or off. This is great if you want to cook fast with high heat but there is no way to slowly simmer a stew or soup at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Frys Fish Better than Rest We caught a great mess of Walleyes on Devils Lake ND. Fried them up and never lacked for heat. Best ever! I did get a hose and 5 Lb. propane bottle.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 2 burner campstove with griddle It works. Be prepared for no heat or blow torch. Disappointed that the burner controls are either on or off. Griddle works well, really nice to have. Contrary to the instruction manual, the griddle does not store inside the campstove. Come on Coleman, get it together will you. Also there is apparently a carry case, which you could put everything into, but good luck finding one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn't seem like it will last I have had several coleman stoves ranging from the original style suitcase stove that run on coleman fuel and a backpacking style stove. I decided to but this model 2 years ago for car camping. Overall it is usable and works as expected but it has design flaws that will ultimately make it end up in the garbage after a few years. For one the latch on the lid is CHEAP plastic and barely holds the lid closed and often pops open dumping everything on the ground during transport. I have been strapping the lid closed with a nylon strap. Next, the battery compartment for the ignition system has the same problem. The screw that hold the door closed does not line up well with the recieving nut and often opens dumping the battery out. Next is the propane tank attachment. There is no real storage for this piece except to place it in next to the burners. This causes it to rattle around during transport and rub the paint off of the stove as well as create noise. Lastly the side shields that act as wind blockers have major gaps that do not block the wind well at all.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from like the wider space but poor low heat control We camp most of the summer and use our stove a lot. Like the wider space of the 3-burner, but here is no low heat control. Second, our ignitor doesn't work any more but it appears you can't get replacement parts (search eventemp stove replacement parts on this site and see what you get). Our old 2-burner stove works great at low temps and is still going, purchased in 1992... this stove purchased 6 years ago not so much.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The worst quality stove Our stove only has two temperatures - either flaming hot or off - the dials will not turn to anything else. Customer service says this is a common issue so they cannot do anything to help. Secondly the latch to keep the lid on to the burner is faulty and it keeps opening if you try to carry it. The lid just opened while I tried to carry it and snapped entirely off.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from never has heated well The 2 circular burners never turn down and I see I am not the only one that has had this problem. I do not want to new regulators it they still do not rectify the problem. The center rectangular burner works well. I have to jury rig the controls to get a lower flame.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Even temp Stove only has one heat setting, really hot or off. Was impossible to cook a low temperature without burning everything. Not worth the expensive price tag, very disappointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Stove! A terrific addition to our camping gear! Very easy to store and use and we love the larger than normal size!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great, but ... Bought this for outdoor cooking. Lifelong Coleman fan, this is a great stove (love the button-push lighting). Only two issues: 1) It is difficult to keep a lower flame setting, the controls are VERY touchy. 2) Bought the 1 lb to 20 lb adapter hose to hook up to my 20 lb propane tank, but no gas comes to the burners that way. Works great with the little 1 lb bottles. From reading other reviews it looks like I need an additional adapter to make the 20 lb adapter work.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Gets the job done - shoddy build Fine if all you want is to heat stuff up fast, otherwise, not so good. Quality of build is shoddy - the latch doesn't hold it shut, the igniter is unreliable (sometimes works, sometimes doesn't), and the flame adjustment is a combination of squishy (as in you adjust it down and it springs back to a higher setting) and too high. The label fell off one of the knobs on mine right out of the box. Coleman, who did this to you? You used to be such a great brand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent family size stove , 2 complaints We camp often with our three kids and extended family, and don't like to cook inside our trailer so a good outdoor stove is a must for us.the slightly larger size is a plus for us, as you can easily fit a large fry pan and pot, at the same time, or of course use the full size included (with ours anyways) grille. Speaking of the grille it is my first issue. It needs to be a two sided grille, one side smooth as it is and the other side with raised grilling area for barbecuing meats, etc. Come on coleman , it wouldn't have cost any more to cast ? Gripe 2 is the controls for the temperature for the two main burners. I am guessing they are a cost effective valve for the company but as others have mentioned in their reviews, difficult to get to a lower setting without turning the burner off. Easy fix might be a larger diameter control button? Last but not least is the connector for the propane cylinder could be placed flush with the outside of the case, on ours it is indented (inset inside the stove )and can be difficult to find and start the threads for The fitting on the stove side of the connector . Gripes aside , this is a decent stove and easily boils a large pot of coffee quickly, as well as made up several batches of pancakes for the kids ( some time to get all three burners matched but worked very well ). Typical quality of all stoves built today, but worthy of the money spent for our family

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ignitor and pressure problem out of the box I bought a 200$ lemon. #1 Out of the box, the ignitor was non functionnal. #2 it will not hold any pressure if I try to use anything else than a 1lb propane cylinder. #3 The latch is so cheap, it barely keeps the lid close, i have to use bungee to make sure it stay close. #4 The adjustment of fire power is closed to non existent. #5 Why isn't the bottom plate isn't made of scratch resistant metal ( like the old stove i had)?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cooking outside is heaven!!! Even with a trailer we love to cook outside and this is heaven. Not sure how we did it without this wonderful new stove before now. what a difference from our 20 year old coleman stove. Time have changed for the better all the way. thanks for great products. Although I am disapointed there are no carrying bag for this unit probably because its so new. we will have to wait I guess.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect The lid is the only "complaint". It latches closed with a push button, which is nice. But if the lid reforms at all over the years, being thinner sheet metal it definitely will, it won't function right. Ie popping open when using carring handle or not closing.
