Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for cooking The Coleman portable propane stove is perfect for camping trips. As a child we used these all the time and now that I'm grown up and take my own kids camping we always use a Coleman propane stove. We like building a campfire as well but who wants to wait for the fire to get that coffee first thing in the morning or if it's too windy sometimes it just quicker to have the little camp stove. They're great because they're portable and they use the little small bottle of propane. You can have dinner ready really quick and don't have to worry about not being able to control the heat. I definitely recommend these if you're a camper or like doing tailgating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greatest stove I would highly recommend this classic propane stove from Coleman to anyone, it’s super useful in many situations in life, not only camping would be fun also to have it while experiencing the weather disasters, when electric is not available, this stove can work from the small propane tank as well from the large too, but you need to purchase extra fittings, many breakfasts and lunches we cooked while been on the go with kids camping. The stove is light and super easy to set up and work, two burners are enough for not such complicated meal preparation, trusted and well known brand that stand for the quality, continue to use when needed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Burner dials are extremely difficult to set It's impossible to set the burner dials on anything except extremely high heat or off. You can't set them to any type of simmer, or even medium heating. Very frustrating!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good Bought the stove last fall used maybe 8 times now lights and goes out. I assume the regulator is bad already, pretty sad no more Coleman products for me I will fix my old white fuel stove and use that. It’s a shame that a 40 year old stove still works and a new one dosnt.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gets the job done This stove works well as long as the weather is decent. We have used this stove many times during our camping trips. I like that there are small propane tanks to use, so less to pack. We typically camp for 2-3 days and a tank will last us most if not all of the trip. The footprint of this stove doesn’t take up much room, but if you only have one table, you will lose some of that space. If it’s windy, the stove doesn’t work that well, although I wouldn’t expect it to. But even with the walls on the side, the wind swoops right in making it close to impossible to use. Overall, it’s decent and I like that it’s compact.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not light After previously testing the stove with a fresh bottle of propane and having no problems with either burner, I tried using the stove on a trip and could not get it to light. I checked all connections, and tried several bottles of propane, and could not fix the issue. I noticed that gas was being supplied to the burner, but would not ignite even when exposed to a constant flame. Given the reputation for reliability of Coleman stoves, I was extremely disappointed that it didn’t work, and had to resort to cooking and boiling water over an open fire. Maybe other models are better, but I’m a bit hesitant to buy Coleman again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great! My family has been using Coleman camping gear for 50 years. Growing up my dad had a Coleman camp stove that worked great. I bought this to take on my first camping trip in 30 years. I am a cook by trade and of course assumed cooking duties. This stove performed above all expectations. I cooked on it every night we camped.. 6 nights. I also heated water every night for dishes. I had no problem with obtaining a low heat setting at all. It is easy to use. No assembly required and sets up in seconds. This is a good investment for anyone who goes camping, hunting or fishing. It could also be used in a natural disaster.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very useful When we had no power for 24 hours, it was just the thing to cook breakfast. And we will use it camping in the summer. My old one did not do very well and it has been with me 50 years in Alaska and now in SC.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Full Blast or Nothing At All I've had my 2 burner stove for a few years now and find myself avoiding using it because it burns everything. Except water - it's great with water. The inability to set the flame low to properly fry eggs or pancakes makes this product a hard pass for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super amazing product 🎁🎁🎁🎁 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from INFLUENSTER ( quick grabs program) and Coleman in exchange for my honest review. These Coleman camping stoves are a must have for cooking outdoors, they are so nice to have and they are worth every penny, I always bring one to cook crab when on vacation because most air Bnb’s won’t let you cook crab inside the house. The Coleman stove is an American icon and it is basically unchanged for many years because it is so good, the Coleman gas stove has never let me down. Thanks INFLUENSTER and COLEMAN so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Flame Adjustment Not Good This Coleman Classic Propane Stove seems to operate at two flame levels: high and higher. It isn't easy to set and keep a low flame on this camp stove.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cheaper made than the older Coleman Stove I had. It did not take long to break the slim aluminum regulator arm. The best stove Coleman made, was the Electric Ignition two burner stove. That one had a stronger and flexible connection to the regulator. I can only recommend the Electric Ignition model number: 5435A700, it lasted for 30+ years and finally broke down recently. I’m trying to find another, but am afraid they don’t make it any more. Coleman, hopefully you have not gone Chinese like many others. Not interested in trying to fined a lighter every time I want to start this stove.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dependable every time! This brand is great for all things camping. Unfortunately, though I absolutely love camping I don’t get to go much. I’m really hoping that changes asap. I have a blast when I go. Every time I do go, COLEMAN is always the common brand for most things we bring. The propane stoves that we use, are always made by Coleman. Not once, have I been camping with a or products from this brand and something goes wrong with it. A brand you can count on! 💯 Dependable brands are the best. I highly recommend this brand, not only for the stove but really all and any camping products!!! ⛺️ 🏕️ Enjoy :).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Classic design that doesn't seem to perform I have been using liquid-gas stoves for a long time, and I prefer them to propane as I don't have to dispose of canisters, they work in sub-zero weather, and my lantern is liquid fuel as well. However, I feel these don't last. My original stove from the mid 80's made it 30 years. I finally retired it, but the new stoves don't hold up. They burn well new out of the box, but a few short trips in, I get consistent dirty yellow flames, and a yellow flame that licks out of the generator when on low simmer mode. I've cleaned it and done all the recommended service, but no luck on anything that sticks. I've returned thenm several times, but the same thing continues to happen with a replacement stove.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from the Classic propane Stove temp control is weak I have used this for 4 summers and I like its size and wait. Also it does OK when used except for the heat controls (dials). They both only have a 1/2 to 1/4 turn for regulating the burners. This doesn't make the unit unusable but very temperamental and very difficult to regulate.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it, only 1 negative thing to say! I have used this product more than a few times.. when the power went out, camping, or in any other situation where I didn't have a stove top or bbq and wanted to cook, like the shop. It is ideal for bbq if you don't mind propane style cooking and it makes a great burner for boiling water or Mac and cheese. I will have to deduct a star though. Every one of these that I have owned or someone I know had owned always without fail eventually have a bad ignition button. It's a pretty simple fix but it is a little annoying. A bad ignition switch doesn't stop you from using it though.. just grab a long neck lighter and turn the gas and light at the burner. Overall, great product and would recommend it to all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy and compact stove [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this Coleman propane stove camping with me and it held up wonderfully. The wind guards were easy to insert into place and performed well. They protected the flames from wind and elements. I appreciate that the stove has minimal parts which makes cleaning easy. You don’t have to navigate any nooks and crannies. I was able to easily fit 2 10-inch pans at one time. The box in fact advertises that you can do one 12in and 10in at a time. That will come in handy when cooking for more people. One thing to note is that this model does not come with an ignition button. You must have a long match or lighter to hold up to the burners in order to get the flame started.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Camping Stove [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Coleman 20,000 BTU 2 burner classic camping stove. First, it’s super easy and convenient to transport. I love that it folds up and can be easily tucked away. It gives me the size I need to use both a 12” and 10” skillet at the same time. I also use this stove on my back patio kitchen area when I need to prepare a full meal and don’t want to go back inside the house to cook something on top of the kitchen stove. I can do everything outside all at the same time. I highly recommend you pick one up!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Little Stove On a recent camping trip to the boonies, I discovered that'd we'd left our stove back at home - a cheapie to get us through the trip was in order. Well, the Coleman Classic Propane Stove came to the rescue! I was thankful to locate a stove at a local store, but for the price I was expecting a flimsy little flame thrower -- after all, you get what you pay for! Guess what? This little dude is a first-class camping stove. There are no frills, that's for sure, as the appearance and function are both quite simple, but this little unit can cook. I found the construction to be very sturdy, without being heavy, plenty of room to hold a couple of skillets, and more than adequate wind protection. What I wasn't expecting was the ability to run a relatively low flame that would cook bacon to perfection, and the stove was quiet! So many propane stoves today sound like a jet engine when you're cooking, but not this one. Also, you can also dial it up and boil water quickly if necessary. I kept the stove when we returned home, and why not -- it's a great little stove!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Once a classic, still a classic I have used Colman propane stoves while camping since I was a teen. It never disappoints. From breakfast of eggs, pancakes, and bacon the grill too heats perfectly. We heat up water to boil for hot tea using a stainless steel pot. Dinner consisting of grilled philly cheesesteak sandwiches and baked apples, cook wonderfully on the Colman stove. Hooking up the propane tank is easy and figuring out the burner controls are easy too. It is a learning curve getting to know the temperture needed, so don't leave your food unattended. Highly recommed this stove!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cost Friendly and durable! This is a great go-to camping/tailgating stove. I've had mine for over 5 years and I've never had an issue with it. It's been banged around a truck bed, used in the rain and snow, been at the beach and in the mountains... it just never quits. Only thing that keeps me from giving a full 5 stars is it's tough to get a good low-flame setting for just simmering food in a pan. Other than that, it's near-perfect.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Barely Lasted a Year Used a different Coleman for 20 years until it developed issues. This one lasted barely a year. Hinges, lid, and clasp are imo quite flimsy, if comparing to their older models it's a joke. Adjusting the flame level is super frustrating due to cheap valves. Turned it on the other day and the right burner flares up like crazy. Tried different canisters and fiddled with the connections. Difficult to get inside the stove, have to remove retaining rings which are at a difficult angle to access. So it's unsafe to use now. Lasted just about a year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Coleman is losing its quality I am super disapointed with the stove that was just sent to me. The item delivered was damaged goods before it was even mailed to me. I can tell because the stove was damaged but the box it was shipped in is fine. I want my money back. Where do I send this trash you sent me back to so I can get my money back?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Coleman Classic Propane Stove These things are awesome!! I haven't camped without one for many years. Through out the years they haven't changed a whole lot which I love. They are so handy. You can break them down so they don't take up a lot of room. You do need to supply the propane bottle of course but these make cooking while you are camping very easy. That's not all they are good for. You can heat up water to do dishes easier or wash your face even clean up. You do have to make sure you keep it clean as you go or food etc gets stuck on and gets hard to clean.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for cooking outdoors! The Coleman Classic Propane Grill is an absolute outdoor cooking gem! Its durable build and portable design make it perfect for camping trips or backyard gatherings. The grill heats up quickly and evenly, providing excellent cooking results every time. I love how easy it is to set up and clean, and the spacious cooking area accommodates a good amount of food. From steaks to veggies, it handles everything flawlessly. For anyone seeking a reliable, efficient, and portable grill, the Coleman Classic Propane Grill is a fantastic choice!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tough to regulate I have been using a Coleman liquid gas stove for many, many years. I received a new propane cylinder stove recently. The main difference between the two is that the propane cylinder stove will not stay on a low burner. I think the propane cylinder pushes the dial up so that it goes back up to a high burner. Great to boil water. Not great for eggs!
