Love it, only 1 negative thing to say!
I have used this product more than a few times.. when the power went out, camping, or in any other situation where I didn't have a stove top or bbq and wanted to cook, like the shop. It is ideal for bbq if you don't mind propane style cooking and it makes a great burner for boiling water or Mac and cheese. I will have to deduct a star though. Every one of these that I have owned or someone I know had owned always without fail eventually have a bad ignition button. It's a pretty simple fix but it is a little annoying. A bad ignition switch doesn't stop you from using it though.. just grab a long neck lighter and turn the gas and light at the burner. Overall, great product and would recommend it to all.

Sturdy and compact stove
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this Coleman propane stove camping with me and it held up wonderfully. The wind guards were easy to insert into place and performed well. They protected the flames from wind and elements. I appreciate that the stove has minimal parts which makes cleaning easy. You don’t have to navigate any nooks and crannies. I was able to easily fit 2 10-inch pans at one time. The box in fact advertises that you can do one 12in and 10in at a time. That will come in handy when cooking for more people. One thing to note is that this model does not come with an ignition button. You must have a long match or lighter to hold up to the burners in order to get the flame started.

Great Camping Stove
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Coleman 20,000 BTU 2 burner classic camping stove. First, it’s super easy and convenient to transport. I love that it folds up and can be easily tucked away. It gives me the size I need to use both a 12” and 10” skillet at the same time. I also use this stove on my back patio kitchen area when I need to prepare a full meal and don’t want to go back inside the house to cook something on top of the kitchen stove. I can do everything outside all at the same time. I highly recommend you pick one up!

Excellent for outdoor cooking!
Compact, powerful, portable and works just as good if not better than our kitchen stovetop. This thing is amazing! I purchased this years ago as a hurricane prep item, which I highly recommend. But I found I love using it on the porch in the hot summers. Better than heating the house up. I do wish it had a built in spark for lighting. I just have to use a match or lighter, no biggie. I’m wanting to get the 20lb adapter line that comes separate to use a bigger gas tank. The little tanks last a few cooks, perfect for camping or tailgating. Excellent buy for sure!

A Great Little Stove
On a recent camping trip to the boonies, I discovered that'd we'd left our stove back at home - a cheapie to get us through the trip was in order. Well, the Coleman Classic Propane Stove came to the rescue! I was thankful to locate a stove at a local store, but for the price I was expecting a flimsy little flame thrower -- after all, you get what you pay for! Guess what? This little dude is a first-class camping stove. There are no frills, that's for sure, as the appearance and function are both quite simple, but this little unit can cook. I found the construction to be very sturdy, without being heavy, plenty of room to hold a couple of skillets, and more than adequate wind protection. What I wasn't expecting was the ability to run a relatively low flame that would cook bacon to perfection, and the stove was quiet! So many propane stoves today sound like a jet engine when you're cooking, but not this one. Also, you can also dial it up and boil water quickly if necessary. I kept the stove when we returned home, and why not -- it's a great little stove!

Must have for any camping trips
This thing has been on so many camping trips with me. Seriously portable, just grab the handle and go. Two burners are clutch – coffee going while I fry up bacon, you know? It heats up pretty quick and keeps a steady flame, even when it's a bit breezy thanks to those side flaps – lifesaver! I've cooked everything from pancakes to pasta on this thing, it just works. And honestly, it's built like a tank. It's taken a few knocks in the back of the truck and still fires up every time. For easy, reliable camp cooking, you really can't go wrong with this classic.

Once a classic, still a classic
I have used Colman propane stoves while camping since I was a teen. It never disappoints. From breakfast of eggs, pancakes, and bacon the grill too heats perfectly. We heat up water to boil for hot tea using a stainless steel pot. Dinner consisting of grilled philly cheesesteak sandwiches and baked apples, cook wonderfully on the Colman stove.
Hooking up the propane tank is easy and figuring out the burner controls are easy too. It is a learning curve getting to know the temperture needed, so don't leave your food unattended.
Highly recommed this stove!

Coleman quality is consistently great
I had an old Coleman stove that went on countless trips with me that would have lasted forever but unfortunately i lost it in a move. I bought a new one and just took it on a five day camping trip. The quality of the new stove is just as great as the one i had. We used it every day. It's simple and quick to put together and the stove is big enough to have a pot on both burners at one time.

Classic for a reason
Are you really camping if you don’t bust out the classic green Coleman camp stove? With this great little stove, you massively expand the possibilities for outdoor cooking. It’s highly portable, works well with canisters of propane that are readily available at sporting goods and outdoorsman stores, and cooks great. Whether you’re making a pot of coffee, or a skillet full of potatoes, sausage, and eggs for a hearty breakfast, the Coleman classic never lets you down.
It’s classic for a reason. If you haven’t picked one up yet, are you even camping?

Cost Friendly and durable!
This is a great go-to camping/tailgating stove. I've had mine for over 5 years and I've never had an issue with it. It's been banged around a truck bed, used in the rain and snow, been at the beach and in the mountains... it just never quits. Only thing that keeps me from giving a full 5 stars is it's tough to get a good low-flame setting for just simmering food in a pan. Other than that, it's near-perfect.

Barely Lasted a Year
Used a different Coleman for 20 years until it developed issues. This one lasted barely a year. Hinges, lid, and clasp are imo quite flimsy, if comparing to their older models it's a joke. Adjusting the flame level is super frustrating due to cheap valves. Turned it on the other day and the right burner flares up like crazy. Tried different canisters and fiddled with the connections. Difficult to get inside the stove, have to remove retaining rings which are at a difficult angle to access. So it's unsafe to use now. Lasted just about a year.

Coleman is losing its quality
I am super disapointed with the stove that was just sent to me. The item delivered was damaged goods before it was even mailed to me. I can tell because the stove was damaged but the box it was shipped in is fine.
I want my money back.

Coleman Classic Propane Stove
These things are awesome!! I haven't camped without one for many years. Through out the years they haven't changed a whole lot which I love. They are so handy. You can break them down so they don't take up a lot of room. You do need to supply the propane bottle of course but these make cooking while you are camping very easy. That's not all they are good for. You can heat up water to do dishes easier or wash your face even clean up. You do have to make sure you keep it clean as you go or food etc gets stuck on and gets hard to clean.

A camping staple for cooking outdoors
We use the Coleman Propane Camp Stove on all of our camping trip, and it it’s worked out pretty well for us. The stove is very easy to set up and light, which is great even for even those who have never camped before. It's lightweight and compact, so it's easy to carry around and pack in the car. When it comes to cooking, it heats up quickly and cooks food evenly, which is really convenient for outdoor cooking. On the downside, adjusting the flame can be a bit tricky. It’s not very easy to get a low simmer, which can be a bit frustrating. Also, it uses propane fairly quickly, so you might need to bring extra canisters if you’re planning to cook a lot. That said it is a reliable choice for camping. It’s simple to use, easy to carry, and cooks food well.

Tough to regulate
I have been using a Coleman liquid gas stove for many, many years. I received a new propane cylinder stove recently. The main difference between the two is that the propane cylinder stove will not stay on a low burner. I think the propane cylinder pushes the dial up so that it goes back up to a high burner. Great to boil water. Not great for eggs!

Great portable stove
I don’t camp, but I love taking this on a picnic at the park or setting up on the beach. This is super portable because it folds up into a briefcase. It is super easy to set it up and everyone is impressed when you are heating up tortillas for your brats. Nobody wants cold and not pliable tortillas. It heats up quick and easy to warm food through and with the guard in back… no worries about wind! This is great! The only thing, I wish there was a hook for the propane and I wish it came with a shoulder strap for easy carrying.

Nice but no temp control
We purchased this a couple years ago for summertime camping and have always been extremely disappointed in the lack of temperature control. It's either rocket high or off, nothing in between even though it's supposed to be controllable. I'm hoping to find out what the fix is for this flaw so that we can have a properly working stove?

Portable, Dependable, Great
We went camping this summer and had to bring our own stovetop cooker due to the unfortunate wildfires going on near by. I didn’t own one so I bought this at the local store. Love this! It’s super portable, was a great price when I purchased it, and cooks great! It fits a 12” cast iron pan and a small something or other at the same time. The flame comes up rather quick based on the setting you have it on. This runs on propane so be sure to purchase a small canister with it. Hooks up within seconds. Definitely a keeper!

poor gas control
I've had Coleman liquid fuel products my entire life (over 50 years). The first propane Coleman product I bought was this stove, as it doesn't require pumping, a great pain in the middle of meal prep (especially with liquid in a saucepan). The downside to the stove is the unreliable, fickle gas control for each burner. The controls invariably "creep up" to increase the flame, which is a nuisance. My gas dealer looked at the set up an advised that there's no "fix", save a replacement stove with more precise controls.

Love to take camping with us!
My family has been using Coleman stoves for decades. They used to use Coleman fuel and had to be pumped up. Now they use propane. They used to be heavy and rectangular with sharp corners. now they are lighter and rounded. They always could be counted on to light, to work perfectly. The current model is light, easy to set up and works perfectly. These stoves have benefited from years of development; they are easy to use for even a novice camper, but are capable of meeting the needs of the most demanding camp cook.

Good
love to pan fry steaks, which require high heat. It always makes a mess with all the oil vapor it generates in the kitchen. I wanted a portable burner like this to be able to pan fry outside with high heat. So my biggest concern was that it was hot enough. I'm able to get to the smoking point for avocado oil on my cast iron pan very quickly with the dial setting at the midpoint. So it is plenty powerful/hot enough. It has really added another dimension to our meals at home. I really love this portable burner.

Trusted brand & excellent stove
As a full time RV’er this is a staple in our life. The reliability of this grill is so important to the way we live. We love cooking outside whenever possible and this is our go-to product. We love that it is durable and can handle all the bumps it receives in the storage area while we travel. The built in wind break is wonderful in helping keep the flame even and accurate so we can rely on the temperature to remain consistent. Our stove is now 10 years old and works just as well as it did on day one.
