It's a nice maker. Be nice if China wasn't wrote all over it. Makes good coffee in a reasonable amount of time. Great for primitive camping! I'd gave 5 stars if made in USA!

Works really well!
We purchased this unit to be used when we go camping without electricity. Aside from taking a while to brew, 15 minutes, it works flawlessly and in any conditions. The coffee is super hot and tastes good. We bring it on picnics as well - nothing like having a hot coffee next to a secluded lake while travelling. Would like the carry case at some point and am looking for the optional stainless steel carafe. Hookup and startup is easy. It does exactly what I wanted it to.

Handy!

Its really nice to have when you don't have access to electricity. My husband also likes to take this on job sites where he doesn't have a way to make coffee and it saves money so he doesn't have to go buy a hot coffee while away from home. Works great and is super convenient.

Great Coffeemaker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a handy coffeemaker. It is easy to use and is perfect for a camping trip. We used it this weekend and it brews a great cup of coffee. The coffee is just as good as it is when I make coffee at home. I like that you do not need any electric to have a cup of morning coffee. This is a must have for people who do trips and do not have electric readily handy. This would also be perfect for tailgating.

Lots of noise no coffee
This pot was a replacement for the on the stove version to make more room for cooking breakfast. Neither pot was a speed machine but getting the space on the camp stove it awesome. Till this weekend it has been all good till it wasn’t. Fired the pot up listened to it burble and rumble “normal sounds” as I waited patiently…. 20min later Nothing Just burbles and steam no coffee. Ended up and the camp store buying a French press and a cup of coffee.

Wow. How I didnt know I needed this in my life
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This propane coffeemaker is the most amazing camping/tailgating item I didnt know I needed. This is not just great for camping. But I took it tailgating this weekend. Everyone had to stop and see it and grab some hot chocolate. It also makes some great coffee too. I recommend this for anyone that need a cup of coffee or hot chocolate on the job or out at work on site. It is very versatile.

So Cool!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we go camping we usually use a percolator on the fire, but this is the coolest thing I have ever owned no cord just your little propane tank some water and coffee and you up the nightgood to go. Make my morning so easy can set it before and start it up right as you wake. It comes with it's own filter in it which is great easy very easy to clean. Literally my new favorite thing.

really easy to use
First day results. Took a while to make a pot. Like 20 minutes. Second day results about the same, but didn't bother me as much. Third day... I really like this coffee maker. Woke up, put in filter, add coffee, fille reservoir with 6 cups water, turn to high, and push button to start. 7 minutes later check reservoir to add another 6 cups of water for full pot. Pour cup and smile. This thing brews a great cup of coffee.

Affordable and very durable

Just put it somewhere where the wind isn’t blowing or prop something up beside it to shield the wind. It’s also great to use when the electricity is out and you need coffee! It is very easy to work and it took it about 20 mins to make a pot of coffee. I have no complaints! It makes very good coffee.

Very convenient!

I was surprised there is a product like this! It's easy to operate and you can make your coffee as strong as you like it and actually use REAL coffee! The only downside is the time it takes to brew, but I'll take this over instant coffee.

A life saver!

Durable and convenient

I must say at first you think you don’t need it and coffee on the fire is just fine, but let me tell you, this is a must. You don’t have to wait for the fire to get started in the morning and you just fire this up and you have coffee in no time and taste much better than coffee over a fire.

Great for camping!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this while camping and it was easy to use. We just got those little propane tanks. It brews much like a normal coffee pot except it takes a little longer and we think it ends up hotter. The coffee tasted great and we love that we have a portable option. Only two things about this coffee pot that I would mention: 1) I do not like that it has a glass pot. We experienced no issues but I am rather clumsy so it's probably just a matter of time before I break it. 2) the top part where the coffee filter and grounds go would not stay pushed in all the way. It kept popping out a little. However, this did not appear to affect function or cause any issues for us. I do like it has a pause feature so you can get coffee before the whole brew cycle is done. It was also very easy to clear. Overall a really great product that we find very useful!

Great for camping or no electricity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a couple weeks ago just in case I ever lost power for some reason and for camping.So I would still be able to have my coffee.So far it's been great and it makes a big pot of coffee and easy to work and clean.I would say definitely get one of these just in case you need your coffee and dont have power.Coffee Is a must in my house.

Also, it seems like every storm we get the power goes out so this would be a perfect backup! I can't make it without coffee. Its pretty compact but did take a while (about 20 mins) to make a pot but it came out good. Easy to set up, easy to use.

Great for Hurricane State!

We live out in the woods in northern Florida where sometimes our power tends to fail, but at least I can still have coffee! The machine is simple to assemble, simple to use, gets warm so be careful and keep it away from thing that can melt. Over all, really cool gadget and a nice find. Will recommend.

affordable but not worthed with the price value.
slow drip,sometimes filter cup overflow to the top and wont drip fully to the pot, the bottom stopper of the filter cup wont open fully even the pot is in placed. This needs to be fix.

Worked perfectly
Yes it was a little slow but that is too be expected when primitive camping. Our pot was never level, no time spent trying to get the table level. We had the heat turned down to the lowest setting on the propane dial to the lowest setting without turning the gas off. The coffee was fantastic, nothing like a great cup of coffee on the side of a mountain overlooking a stream.

Good coffee
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good little gadget. My family enjoys fishing, and we can now have fresh brewed coffee made on the shore or on the back of our truck. It brews fast as long as it’s away from any breeze. The only downside is that the water valve keeps popping out and I’m afraid it’ll get lost. All in all, I’m happy with this product.

Disappointing!!!
Very disappointed with this purchase! We’ve only used the pot twice and now all it does is make a horrible mess! It overflows out of the basket and ground go everywhere. It’s like it’s missing a part under the basket to allow push the spring open and let the coffee out. Pretty expensive to not get any more than a couple of uses out of.

Easiest pot of coffee while camping
Took a little tinkering to get it to work correctly. I experienced the “spitting” problem and once the filter part stopped draining and the grounds spilled over creating a mess, but after experimenting with it I figured it out and now I can make a whole pot of coffee with ease. It MUST be perfectly level for it to run smoothly.

Perfect
I finally got one yesterday. Best coffee I have had camping. You don't have to watch it like a perculator on a camp stove. It made a better pot of coffee then my kitchen coffee maker does. Very advanced drip blocker, better then mr coffee makers. Instantly stopped the flow for the 1/4 cup steal i always do when I first wake up.

Coffee and camping
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been really excited to try out the Quickpot propane coffeemaker and was finally able to on our last camping trip.
The set-up was very easy. The propane tank easily screws on and stores on the back when not in use. The brew cup slides into place and that was a little tricky to line up but not too bad. The brew cup also takes flat bottomed coffee filters.
We filled the entire water reservoir and brewed our coffee using 3 scoops of coffee using a coffee scoop. Start to finish it took less than 20 minutes to brew. Once it was all brewed there was about 8 cups of piping hot coffee that tasted great! We really liked the coffee maker and it will be joining us on our next camping trip for sure.
Cons- bulky packaging but it keeps the maker secure, takes a good amount of time to finish, no alert to say it's finished
Pros- 8-10 cups of coffee all at once, doesn't take space on camp stove, tasted good

Great outdoor coffee maker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for camping, hunting, fishing, any outdoor activity where you would not have access to electricity but you need your coffee fix. It takes a little longer to brew than a traditional electric brewer, but that's not a big deal, and the coffee it brews tastes good. You can pause it while brewing so you can go ahead and pour yourself a cup, then replace the carafe and let it continue to brew a whole pot. The pot holds 10 cups. It keeps your coffee hot for several hours. The Instastart button makes it easy to ignite and get started brewing. If you don't like the glass carafe they have a stainless steel carafe on thei website that fits this machine. Aside from connecting the propane tank, it works just like a regular coffee maker, easy to use, easy to clean. It's lightweight so it's easy to pick up and move around. It's been used a few time around here in the past month or so and we love it, no complaints at all.
