good portable grill but not so great
We use this grill when camping and on our boat. It's a nice basic grill that grills up hot dogs and hamburgers very well. I wouldn't use it for complicated or long grilling items, that's not what it's designed for. It's a nice basic lightweight grill. The only negative is it does not grill well under windy conditions, it simply is too affected by the wind, such that it doesn't get hot enough to effectively grill in windy conditions, this is why I gave it 4 stars, not 5.

Cheaply made, grate melted.
I used this grill once and the grill grate mted when I was cooking some vegetables in aluminum foil. Grill lifespan-a out twenty minutes. Coleman is processing a warranty but with the same unit. I see many reviews and complaints out there referencing the same problem with this grill and Coleman insists on replacing it with the same model.

Heats unevenly and not durable
Bought the squirrel to use while camping in our travel trailer. Was confident it would work well as I have always supported the Coleman products. First use the handle broke/melted off! We were incredibly disappointed to find the heating terribly and even. Front and back of the grill do not heat anywhere near the same temperature while cooking. This also was a big disappointment. I’m returning grill because it just does not meet our needs whatsoever

Cooked many meals
Great little grill stove combo, we’ve had ours for over 10 years and cooked many meals camping. I bought the basic one with no ignition lighter to keep it simple, I see other posts of grills that melted, I will guess Colman has cheapened them after I bought mine if so shame on them, I also own a griddle with no issues.

Sleek and Easy to Use, but...
Upgraded from Coleman 2 burner fuel tank stove because could not find complete assembled fuel tank for replacement. New stove was easy to assemble, and like burner grill combo. Noted as less than desirable: wind flaps are a a bit flimsy and are the only way to hold the lid up. There are no lid hinges-sometimes it just needs to be up. And finally there is no carry handle. Ask a woman next time you design.

Best all in one camp stove option
Last time I went camping, my friend had one of these, and I am so jealous of it. The varying heating services make this unit so versatile. One single small burner on the side for boiling water or making coffee, and the large main grill that can also be swapped out for a griddle, means that you can cook absolutely anything on this from steak to grilled chicken to pancakes and burritos and hot dogs.

Huge design flaw
The first time we used the igniter didn't work. We had to use a lighter to light the burner. As we were grilling burgers the grease melted the "PLASTIC" grease catcher underneath the stove and grease ran over our table. Then the grease caught fire catching our table on fire and the stove itself on fire. We barely got the stove off the table while on fire without anyone getting badly burned.

Great grill
I like that it is a full grill. Can fit more on it . It doesn't blow out as easily as the Coleman stove with one burner on the side and because the burner is a singular unit it cooks evenly on both sides. I also purchased the flat grill for this unit. Fits perfect but haven't used it yet. I reccomend you get a small double burner for extra cooking just to keep your meals interesting.

Camping Must Have
This is one of the products my parents always had when we were camping, so I made sure to get one when I started taking my family camping. It’s just so easy to take with you on a camping trip. It doesn’t take too much room. You can use a small project and tank and it last many uses. I’ve cooked breakfast so many times on these with ease. It cooks evenly and throughly.

I got myself this coleman grill to keep in my work truck. I dont always have time to leave the job site to eat. But with this grill I can cool myself a nice lunch/Dinner while on site. When I'm done it cleans up fast and is small enough that it doesn't take up much space.
I absolutely love this grill and I use it all the time.

Portable, Compact, Perfect Camp Grill
I’ve have this camping grill for years and it still is just as great as when I unboxed it. We are talking 8+ years. It is perfect for all situations like camping with how portable it is. It is just big enough to cook for a family and has the versatility with the side burner to really make an entire meal. It gets hot as well!

Good overall but not good for low temp cooking
It's great overall stove. It's light and easy to set up. HOWEVER, trying to get the burner to a low flame is incredibly difficult! It turns off all the time if you want a low temp so you end up with a very strong flame and it's very easy to overcook and burn the food. Wish there was a way to fix this.

Great Stove
I have been camping for almost 18 years. Own two of these stoves. One stays in the camper and the other is used to cook out on the deck. Great!!!! Do take the hot or even warm cook surface and put it in the water, the flat surface warped a little. Wait until they are cool before cleaning.

Perfect!
We got this to take camping with us or to use when the power goes out. The last couple of times we have gone camping there has been a fire ban. This came in handy because a lot of the meals I had planned in making require the campfire and I could do essentially the same thing on this grill.

Super Convenient
We love our Coleman camping stove, it’s portable, it’s convenient to use, easy to set up, very fuel efficient and a breeze to clean. We have even used this when all of our power was out and needed to make coffee and cook breakfast, thank goodness we had it!! I highly recommend buying.

Great stove
This is a great camp stove. We take it with us on lots of trips. It is easy to pack and transport. It gives a good amount of heat with good distribution so you can use every inch of space. It is easy to clean with a quick wipe down. It is very durable and continues to work great.

Not enough stove.
Not enough. Every last part of this lemon is too small But the worst part is that aluminum grate. It, of course, melted. I would even accept a stainless steel upsell replacement part and be satisfied with purchase. But no. I hate this stove and look forward to replacing it.

I go camping quite a bit, and decided to pick up one of these for grilling. It is honestly so convenient, easy to move around, and has a good amount of space for a propane grill. Having two burners made cooking so much easier. I highly recommend

A great family stove.
Used it for a weekend event for 3 of us. It was exactly what we needed. The combo of burner and grill in one package was perfect. It would have distinct short falls if more people went. Overall glad I bought it and will get a lot of use.

Good cook stove, conservative with fuel. Does get very hot, be careful of sides of gazebo walls.
This works great, it sets up quickly and is sturdy. The sides of the cook stove can get very hot, so be careful if you have this in a gazebo with sides. It ignites well, and is conservative with the fuel. It wipes clean easily as well.

thought it had the electronic ignitor and in the base there are a bunch of weird scratched areas where it looks like the screws were hard for them to get in when making it and I'm worried as I use it those areas are going to rust out

I have had my coleman camping stove for years. Used it an fizens of camoing trips. And several power n outages at home. Power was out day and a half. Set on on my back porch and cooked every meal. So durable and easy ti clean.
