The Coleman RoadTrip 285 Portable Stand-Up Propane Grill features sturdy quick-fold legs and 2 wheels for hassle-free setup, takedown, and transport so that taking your grill on a camping trip or to a tailgate is easy. Push the Instastart ignition button for matchless lighting, then select your heat with the enhanced temperature control of 3 independently adjustable burners (outer left, inner, outer right). With a range of grilling power from 3,250 to 20,000 BTUs and 285 sq. in. of cast iron grill grates coated in porcelain, you’ll wow your friends and family with an array of perfectly cooked meats, seafood, or veggies every time. If you're looking for more meal options, the Swaptop interchangeable cooktops let you switch the grill grates with a griddle or stove grate (both sold separately). With two sliding side tables to keep utensils and sauces handy, cooking with this grill is just as convenient as traveling with it. Bonus: The RoadTrip 285 Portable Stand-Up Grill can be stored upright (to fit in tight spaces) until your next cookout. Uses a 1-pound (453-g) propane cylinder (sold separately).

Could perform all cooking outdoors and keep the inside of the camper clean and neat. Would prefer Teflon coated aluminum grates instead of cast iron. Cast iron can be difficult to clean.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Coleman Roadtrip grease trap The grease trap is a crazy mess, I've owned several grills but never one where you have to add water in the bottom of the grill. Cleaning up after using it a few times is nothing I want to do again, this is a very bad design and should be recalled. If anyone wants one, I'm selling mine.

Small enough to travel with and offers multiple features and upgrades you can add in alter easy setup and the grill gets heated up quickly!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Money wasted on what used to be a quality company The grill worked great for the first 2 uses, then it won't heat up. Flames burn blue just very low. I expected better from Coleman. Very poor quality. I cannot recommend this product, especially for the price. I have had cheap Char-Broil grills that were better than this one.

We threw it away. Don’t buy this. If you’re gifted it, save yourself the effort and place the box directly in the dumpster.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It’s okay but not convenient to clean I had high hopes for this grill. I like the portability and the brand in general. But it is very hard to clean and maintain. Burgers and chicken just cooked average but you do have to watch for flare ups or your meat will burn right up. It just wasn’t for me.

I am always a fan of any outdoor gear that is sturdy, easy to carry/assemble/transport, and hassle-free, and this Coleman grill is just that! The features on this modern and stylish grill include matchless lighting and a quickstart ignition button, which saves the need for coal or wood. The inside of the grill is spacious and enough to grill for the entire family in just one rounds. I tried many different proteins, including burgers, hot dogs, rack of ribs, fish, kebabs, and an assortment of veggies, and each of them turned out great and flavorful. The burners can be controlled independently, ensuring a consistent and homogenous heat throughout your grilling experience. It's very powerful for the size that it comes in. I like the modular aspect of this grill, as you can easily replace any of the parts and can quickly dissemble the grill, if needed. I wuld recommend this grill for any grilling enthusiast.

The pressure regulator failed and unfortunately the regulator is an assembly with the three gas volume controls and igniter. A spare assembly is not available and according to Coleman the grill must be scrapped.

We camp alot 4 to 5 times a year. Best grill ever. Will probably have to buy a new one in the next year or so.
