Old style and bright
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Power outage and this lantern saved the day. Heavy duty construction and has some heft to it. It takes D batteries. Easy to use and carry around with it longer metal handle. It gave off enough light to lite up most our dining room and the into the family room. Never got hot and we had it on most of the day on med beam.

Coleman Lantern

The 3 light settings let you get the light you need for any space and the flashing light feature is perfect for an emergency situation. It's lightweight yet durable and great for indoors or for camping.

Pretty and practical

When I saw this lantern and my favorite colors gold and black I was so excited. I like how Coleman is updating their items so they can be pretty and practical. We just upgraded the interior of our RV and this matches perfectly. The other ladies in our camping crew could not stop talking about this lantern.

Great design, light way to white!
Love the design. Light is way too bright and white. I had to put a orange GEL inside to give it the warm light you want when you are camping! It took some work.

Very durable

We had to end up using it the first time for a power outage, very durable with different levels of lighting and a blinking light. I love everything about this lantern from it's older look to the ease of use. Coleman you out did yourself on this one.

The Perfect Lantern
This lantern is great. The finish and materials are the highest quality. While the light isn’t as bright as what you’d get from a kerosine lantern, the fact that you don’t have to worry about keeping it away from flammable items makes this a must have. This thing just works and gives you all the illumination your campsite needs.

A beautiful, throwback design.
With 4 D-size batteries, this lantern is heavy, so more for the cabin than for backpacking. It's lovely all around and sturdy enough to last for a long time.
