Easy setup, great quality!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Coleman - Skydome™ 8-Person Camping Tent XL, Blue Nights, is a great quality tent that my family absolutely loves.
The tent is extremely easy to construct straight from the box and only took me and my wife approximately five minutes, the color coding made it extremely easy. The Fly does take a little bit of extra time, but nothing too complicated, this part definitely benefits from having a second person to assist as it can be a little fiddly.. I really like the permanently attached poles as they ensure that nothing is lost and they are extremely easy to pack and unpack. The material used is is great quality and as expected waterproof and the tarp like lining for the floor awesome as you don't need to worry about dampness coming through the bottom of your tent, it is also great as the one piece construction prevents bugs and mosquitos from sneaking in during the night. There is a vent and windows that ensure that you can stay cool during the night, I made sure that we placed the window in the direction of the wind to enable good airflow.
The tent is a great size (huge!) that really could fit three queen sized mattresses, but we chose to use one and this provided us with an enormous amount of space to store all our supplies whilst sleeping. Yes this tent is a really great size and tall enough for my wife and sons to stand up in (I am 6'3" so I can stand with a slight bend).
Packing up the tent is surprisingly easy and I actually like that it fits easily into its bag as other tents I have used in the past were difficult to return to their bag.
This tent is built to last and I can see us enjoying it for many years to come. This is a product that I thoroughly reccomend to others and I would definitely purchase again.

Enjoying The Outdoors Again!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the 8-Person XL Skydome Camping Tent to test and review. I'm glad to be back in the great outdoors with the family again. This tent has the WeatherTec Protection System - Tub like floor, Water-Resistant fabric and a Stronger frame. The tent can fit 3 Queen size airbeds in it. You also get a tent holder that hangs for your smaller accessories. I like that it comes with a e-port for electrical access. This a very quick set-up within about 5 minutes its ready to go.

This tent is absolutely incredible and spacious !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tent is huge !! This tent can fit three queen size air beds , with room left over to walk around them ! Two of us were able to set the tent up in under five minutes ! That is incredibly fast , it really was super easy . One thing I found very helpful was that we encountered a little bit of rain and wind our camping trip , The tent frame can with stand up to 35 mile an hour winds ! It’s strong ! All the lining is double sealed and there is an extension that comes out over the door that helps keep any rain away . There is an E port so you can bring an extension cord inside your tent . When we took the tent down it took less than five minutes as well and I just want to say that yes fabric on the tent is high quality !

Great tent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in the deep south so its been a little too hot to camp for days. However we did use it a few times as a family night. On the Forth of July it came in handy while we waited for the fireworks. We avoided the rain then rain and bugs. When the rain stopped and the fireworks began we to off the top. We were able to see everything. I am extremely pleased. It took about 7 minutes to set up and for the most part pretty easy to put together.

Plenty of room!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so impressed with how large in length and height this tent is. There is plenty of space for my family of 5 and then some. Even my 6 ft tall husband can stand up straight inside! The material seems to be very durable and of good quality. The inside has plenty of ventilation. Me and my husband were able to set up everything in 15 minutes for our first try. I am sure that set up will be quicker for our next camping adventure!

Great updates but one HUGE downgrade
Love everything about this tent - had borrowed from friends for the past few years and decided to finally buy my own. I foolishly didn’t look too carefully before buying assuming the tent was the same as the old version but with a new fly colour, only to discover THE ‘SWINGING DOOR’ (that’s supported by a pole) as been removed?!? Now the door is just a regular zipper door, without the ‘swinging open/closed’ capabilities! This was honestly the BEST feature of the original tent, and when camping with toddlers SO SO awesome to allow them easy access/exit while still keeping bugs out. I can’t believe they would remove this feature - now my toddler gets the zipper stuck basically every time he tries to go in or out. I was devastated they would remove the swinging door. SUCH an amazing feature of the older version.

It is a little more complicated to set up than it looks and the instructions are a little hard to follow otherwise good tent. As we we’re trying to set up it started raining so we had to bring it inside. The material is sturdy and I love the dome so you can watch the sky at night. Definitely a good tent

Side don’t stay open if you can’t peg them
Th is tent would be great if the sides stood up on their own. I liked the original dome tent and bought this for extra space. But the ground we were camping on was not peggable and so the sides would not stay up or open. Very frustrating and I might have to sell it or buy sand bags and try to figure that out. Otherwise it’s pretty useless unless you have perfect ground. So disappointing.

so roomy & great family tent!
absolutely wonderful tent for our family. the amount of space is wonderful and you don’t feel claustrophobic which is an huge bonus when you’re already out in the woods in a small space. it gets a little hot, but the ability to open a few panels to allow for some air flow is wonderful. We would recommend this tent for a family or someone who just wants a little more space!

Tons of room and so easy to set up!
"I am beyond impressed with the space in this tent! We fit two queen air mattresses with room to spare for our gear. The vertical walls make a huge difference—you don’t feel like you’re crouching at all. Plus, the pre-attached poles made the setup surprisingly fast, which is a lifesaver when you arrive at a campsite late. Highly recommend for families or large groups!"

Awesome tent

You can fit 3 queen size mattress in the tent and still have room to put your bags and walk around. This tent is very well made and great quality. It would be great for any of your camping trips.

Good tent
Roomy. Stylish. Perfect. It comfortably fits a family of 5 with room for all our stuff. Can’t wait to go camping in it again. Great tent, easy to assemble, 10-15 minutes on my own, less than 10 with some help.
Very spacious, comfortably held a quin-size and a full-size inflated mattresses and a big dog along with some big bags.

Great if you need a bigger tent!
I actually own this tent. We took it out to go to Yosemite national park. We’ve had smaller tents with two kids and needed something bigger. This tent was big enough to keep all our bedding and an ice chest inside. It did a great job of keeping the bugs out. If you need a larger tent this one does the job very well.

This tent holds up fairly well compared to others for the price! It can be tricky to put together and take apart for less experienced campers like myself, but the space and ease of use for this tent is worth it.

I don't like the fact the poles are attached to the tent. They are slimmer than most other tents I've owned even. Not sure it will hold up for the long term. Hopefully get me thru 3-5 years of camping.

Exactly what I was looking for!!!
This tent was so perfect for my family. Easy to set up and tear down in no time. Thankfully I paid attention to how it was folded so I could fold back up and make it fit back in the bag. I love it!!!

Ripped during first use
The tent was pretty good except the loop attaching the poles to the tent ripped off immediately the first time we set up the tent. I’m going to try to fix it myself because we like the tent overall.

Tent Not Big Enough
Tent got wet inside and could only really fit a twin air mattress and full size bean bag. Advertised as 3 queen size bed fit but there was not enough room.
