Easy and convenient to use

I'm loving this grill
Bought this may 26th. So easy to set up. Easy to move and great to cook on. Only negative was that the store only stocked green and I wanted red or blue. No biggie. Love that you can pull the the grill plates off and wash in the sink. Fuel holds on a long time. I only run two burners since it's just my wife and I. A great buy!!

its a little workhorse
I have one and I love it. The best thing about it is the ease of cleaning after the food is cooked. I don't know of any other BBQ that has this feature and that is why I keep coming back for other items. Doing the cleaning after the food is done is the worst part of the BBQ process. Great for on the pontoon boat!

The grill is perfect grilling! easy to assemble, starting up. Has different griddles. I have mine going on 5 years and works perfect. My only thing is that the knob cracked and broke off and they dont have replacements. They dont make it for this model. Looking everyone online and nothing and coleman couldnt help me either.

So Convenient
Love this little grill. So easy to pack up and throw in the jeep to go camping for the weekend or just to bring to a friends house to cook out. Great Grill
Great grill, hamburgers cooked really fast. Flames were so small compared to the monster I gave up. The old grill took up at least five time the space in the garage that this one does. No more lugged big propane cylinders. I wish they would have included a cap tor the gas connection when the bottle is off.

Perfect Grill!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my Coleman RoadTrip 285 Portable Stand-Up Propane Grill. It is so easy to set up and take down and fits perfectly in the back of my car without taking up all the space. It’s perfect for a trip to the lake, beach, or park as well as tailgating at football games or just around the house. I love that we no longer have to drive around to find an open grill on our outings. We just park and set up wherever we want to eat. It’s one hand set up and take down is so easy with no fuss. It has 3 separate burners that can be adjusted individually to cook multiple items. You can also buy additional cook tops to switch out the grill grates with a griddle or stove grate. The grill uses a 1lb propane tank that can be switched out easily so you never have to worry about the weather your cooking in. We plan to camp this week and will be using this as our sole means for cooking. It's easy to clean and I definitely recommend!

Good quality product. My previous ROAD TRIP, a two burner model, would out perform my three burner propane large grill. Faster cooking. Quicker warm up time. Easy clean up. Easy to set up and take down. This grill travels well in the basement storage in the motorhome and also goes to closer events in our SUV.

I've use my Coleman RoadTrip 285 almost 100 times and it has never failed me in all 4 seasons. My favorite features are the 3 burners, water drip tray (super easy cleaning with no grease fires), and its portable. If you want above average quality with above average features than get the Coleman RoadTrip 285.

HORRIBLE assembly instructions
Just purchased this for my patio and was looking forward to using it. I've started and stopped assembling 3 times already in the last 2 days. Could you possibly make the instructions any worse? Diagrams are extremely unclear and small. I'm about to toss it out to the recycling bin and get something else.

I think grill will work. Would have liked to see more stronger hinges, this is a noticable weak point. Locking is poor for transport, I will need to be extra careful. I believe 3 burners puts grill in par with Weber, but believe making a few minor changes on quality could move coleman to #1 position.

I've had this grill about a year and have used it consistently for camping. It cooks well, even got the griddle top for bacon, etc. My wife suggested getting a new grill for the back patio and I told her I just wanted to get a conversion hose to attach this one to a larger tank. Love this thing!

Coleman Roadtrip grease trap
The grease trap is a crazy mess, I've owned several grills but never one where you have to add water in the bottom of the grill. Cleaning up after using it a few times is nothing I want to do again, this is a very bad design and should be recalled. If anyone wants one, I'm selling mine.
