Just the right size for my bicycle!
I'm happy to report that the Chiller 16 qt fits inside the 24 qt milk crate I use as a rear basket on my bicycle. Coleman reports the cooler as being 12" wide, and the milk crate company reports the crate as being 12" wide interior, but the cooler dimension apparently also includes the handle. The cooler body is actually only about 11.5" wide, so it drops right in my milk crate.
I bought this model specifically to be able to more easily buy frozen foods from supermarkets further from my home, as I do all of my shopping by bicycle. I've been car-free for 4 years, now, and I ride year-round, but have not been able to buy frozen food outside of Winter.
Coleman could improve this product by adding insulation foam, a silicone rubber seal, and a simple latch to the lid, so that it's more secure in transport and keeps things colder for longer.
I love the Cucumber green color, and I trust Coleman durability. I've owned a Coleman 54 qt stainless Steel-Belted cooler for over 20 years that has seen me through week-long camping trips, living in the back of my pickup truck for months, living off-grid in a mountainside cabin for a whole year, and of course garden parties and barbeques.
