[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooler is handy for outdoor bbq's, entertaining and also for emergencies. I have had times with a week of no electricity, though that is rare and you can put a block of ice in here and keep food for up to five days.
This 50 gallon size will hold seventy cans, so big enough for a picnic assuming 2-3 drinks a person you could have enough for 20-30 people. It will hold 2 liter soda bottles upright.
I also travel and one of my trips is often where the food is not to my liking (big group meeting.) I keep fruit and cheese and other foods cool if there is no fridge offered in the hotel room.

Did not live up to expectations
Doesn't keep things frozen. Bought it for travel and tested it with two 10 x 8 x 1.5 ice packs and a frozen half liter of water. The cooler was pre-cooled down with separate ice packs before loading. We left the cooler closed from 5 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. the following day. When we opened it, both ice packs were completely thawed and the half liter of water was completely liquid. We ran this test twice. Very disappointed for the money we spent. My ten year old "just plain" Coleman cooler keeps things frozen better than this model. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because it may work for items that just need to stay cool for a day trip, so we will keep it and use it for that purpose.

Awesome Cooler
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this cooler this weekend not intending to leave a review because I didn’t really give it a fair chance. We didn’t have ice so we used 3 ice packs only. I also had no cold waters so those were room temperature. The cooler was in my car during the heat and outside in a garage when it was above 80 degrees. The waters were cold when I went to get them out. The ice packs were still frozen solid. It had been at least 10-12 hours. I’m sure it would be even better if we had ice. Even my husband said “that’s a handy cooler”. I also love that it has a 10 year warranty.

The Coleman Pro 45-Quart is built tough and delive
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took it for an overnight camping trip, and the ice lasted the whole trip — even with frequent openings. It's sturdy, easy to pack, and holds a lot.
Size-wise, it’s perfect for a weekend trip or a big day out. It’s not so massive that it’s impossible to move once it’s full, but it fits a surprising amount — drinks, food, even some taller bottles standing up.
One small thing: when it’s completely loaded, it can get heavy, but that’s kind of a given with any good cooler. I’d much rather it be solid and heavy than light and useless.
Overall, it’s reliable, solid, and definitely worth it if you need a cooler that can handle real use.

Coleman cooler was a major FAIL!
The pro 25 cooler was a complete bust. I live in my car and keep all my perishable food in a cooler. I was frustrated with other cookers that would only keep cold for a day or so. I bought the pro 25 looking for a bit more performance. It completely disappointed. It would only maintain ice for half a day or one day tops. A complete waste of money. I’m switching back to my dollar store cooler.

Keeps the food cold long time

State , driving 8 hours using this coleman Pro 25 quart hard cooler For the first time .
Really, i was surprised how our food stayed cold until tomorrow, especially my baby food
Other things I like are the cooler's latch made of stainless steel , easy to open, and close the lead ( means no rust development)
Our food stayed fresh, with no bad odor or mold .
My husband carries the fully loaded cooler using the padded strap with comfort from our car to the hotel.
When the time of cleaning comes. It was so easy for me to do using the drain plug ( is wide and drain fast )
Highly recommend this cooler for anyone who needs these good features .
