good but not great
great looking rugged cooler. I dont like the shallowness of the tie down handles. not much room to get a clip into. Many have said its not great for ice retention. but for this small of a cooler.im not looking to store anything in it more than a few hours anyhow

Easy to clean and great size
Extremely solid build and is the perfect size for traveling. Kept my food cold for hours longer than my old supermarket cooler. the edges inside are smooth and don’t have many small corners which makes cleaning extremely straightforward

Built like a tank!
This cooler is just what I was looking for. Extremely sturdy, heavy-duty and well-built. It is on the smaller side, so I purchased two. It will be used to store dry goods to protect them from mice and insects at the cabin.

Flexibility for Senior Camper
I bought 2 of these coolers 1 for me and 1 as gift to family member. The size alows me manageability with ability to seperate food or beverages for camping trips. I have another much older cooler still using Gott 16.

There is no way this is 17 quart capacity. It holds less than my 16 qt Coleman Chiller. It does hold ice about 3 days and seems very well made and upscale but the claimed capacity is an outright lie!

Excellent cooler and sized perfectly for traveling
Perfect small cooler for my needs so far. It will hold water bottles laying down, that is a big plus for space. The rubberized bottom was an important factor also. It doesn't slide around in my truck bed.

Sticky sand trap
Pro 17 quart cooler. The cooler size is good for one person. The insulation seems to work well when following the icing instructions. Do not try to pick up cooler with the handle when lid is not latched, the lid will fly open because the handle is attached to the lid. The side tie downs might come in handy and can double as carrier handles in a pinch. Wish there were a little more finger recess above the tie downs in which to carry the cooler when not using the handle. I like the feature to be able to lock the cooler. The front latch that secures the lid seems sturdy enough. My least favorite thing is the rubber on the bottom of the cooler. Great for non slip on hard surfaces but is a sand and dirt magnet. I bought this cooler for the beach and will not be using it for that purpose now. The rubber picks up every grain of sand and speck of detritus it sits upon and is hard to clean off.
Keep that in mind if you are buying this for the beach. Buy a hard smooth bottom cooler for that. There are less expensive options out there as well. This cooler has a pretty high price point for its size. That’s all folks.
