Rated 5 out of 5 by Chree from Best value in coolers! This cooler does everything I could ever want at a fraction of the cost of other coolers. The size is just right for a small group or weekend trip, build quality is good, multiple handles are nicely arranged, the wheels make it super easy to transport and the drain is perfectly placed. Ice was frozen solid throughout a full 82F day into the following evening. 5 days? Probably not, but how many people actually need ice for 5 days?! Even if you’re camping so far from ice replenishments, you’re doing something wrong if you’re dragging a cooler out there. Buy this and be happy for eternity!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Thegodofgreen from Doesn't hold ice for 5 days Nice cooler, I drive trucks I know the review might be a little skewed Because the truck moves / vibrates ice is melting due to mechanical force ECT... But I bought 6 7pound bags of ice on Monday morning by Thursday it's 90% water again in a tractor with the AC running 50-70 degrees non stop I doubt in 90+ degree weather this can hold ice and food or drinks. I don't "pre cool" a cooler but ice retention is not 5 days even if it were not in an ac truck. Plan to buy ice twice if you plan to be out a week. Not a make or break thing for me just need a big cooler easy to lift for food and drinks being able to buy ice isn't a real challenge for me but if your in a far out rural area or life and death I'd pass

It is sturdy and I love that it has the wheels for easy transport. Handle is on the side for pulling - I've had problems with the retractable handles on the back of other coolers breaking, so I looked for the side handle feature. Everything stays cold for as long as I need it. Cooler says ice will keep for 5 days, but I haven't put it to the test yet.

I prepped the cooler by adding 3 bags of ice (unopened) to cool the inside and then next day draining the excess water and dumping in the bags of ice. Most of the ice stayed frozen for the 3 day trip, even while it was in the back of the car in the sun for 7 hours on a 90 degree day. I did have to drain some water but that is to be expected. Great cooler, great value. No problems with the lid not closing for me.

I was very excited to receive this 62 quart Wheeled Cooler by Coleman. This cooler is huge. It has plenty of room for drinks, food, and condiments. On the cooler, it has a large handle that you use to pull it. It also has 2 smaller handles so you can pick it up to put in your car. The cooler is very sturdy, and well made. I put ice in the cooler 3 days ago, and there’s still ice. I am very happy with this cooler.

We took it on a picnic and the wheels made it easy to maneuver though the grass. The cooler looks nice and modern. I liked the thick handles and it kept our sodas cold for the 5+ hours we were at the park. The only thing I didnt like was the the lid doesn't stay open and I had to be careful when my kids tried to open it. I didnt want it to slam on their hands. Great cooler overall.

First, at 62 quarts this bad boy can hold a lot of drinks, food, and ice. Really, we found it to be the perfect size for our camping trip needs. It is rugged and sturdy, and the wheels are also very solid and work on natural ground terrain. This is the kind of cooler that can take a beating, and will be around for many years. The lid doubles as a table with spots designated to hold drinks---which is really handy if you want to set it between chairs, or even on a boat. It also has both short handles (on either side) for easy grip while lifting, and a longer handle that you can use for when you are rolling the chest. Really, the wheels are my favorite feature. It is much easier to transport the cooler when it is full of ice and drinks when it can be rolled. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality, design, and function of this cooler.

It is spacious and keeps your products every bit as cool as the more expensive brands. There is no need to go more expensive than this. Coleman is and has been known to make quality outdoor products for decades. The cooler is light weight, has wheels and a handle for when it is loaded up, and it is very easy to clean when all of the festivities have come to a close. Could not find a fault with this product, and it comes highly recommended.

Not only does it not hold ice for the 5 days it claims, it didn’t even keep ice for 12 hours at not even 25c. This is the 2nd Coleman cooler that we have bought and neither hold ice for the time stated. I am extremely dissatisfied that i didn’t get what I paid for. I will not be buying Coleman again. Not worth the money at all.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Orion from Hinge problem Did homework before buying cooler but should’ve payed attention to the hinge issue reviews. When hinges are working properly this is a very good cooler. Unfortunately for me, two days into a road trip where the cooler stayed in my vehicle for the whole time the top screws on one of the hinges came unscrewed fully. The screws are metal and it is screwing into a part of the lid that has thin plastic. It’s a shame that a descent cooler like this one will get a bad review because of lazy engineering.

We've taken this tailgating, parades, to the park, etc. Holds up well and keeps everything nice and cold. Has a short little handle to pull along or you can carry it by the sides like a normal cooler. Has great capacity at 62 quarts and can have someone sit and chill on it without breaking. Not sure what the weight limit is exactly but i sat on it fine with no issues.

The wheels are wobbly and thin....they will not last the rocky trails that we pull it down. I dislike the plastic hinges. These definitely crack and split with time, however, they are easily replaced! The main handle used to pull it IS sturdy! I will use this when I have to pull it short distances on a fairly smooth surface. I do like the size and it is easy to handle.

It was sitting in ac the whole time. Advertised for ice to keep "5 days" I would at least expect 2 days...so disappointing. It also does not close with a good seal, there is no give to it. My other older coleman coolers work great, not sure what happened to their quality.

This is the perfect size cooler for my family of 4 when we go to the beach or on road trips. I had considered a bigger cooler, but it would not have left room in the backseat for passengers. This cooler is perfect size and works perfectly. It can hold drinks, cold cuts, and a ton of ice with no problems at all!

I used it for a 3 day camp trip this past weekend, and still had ice left over which boosted my confidence for future and longer use! Moving it around was extremely easy with the improved easy to carry handle. I'm a tall person and normally I find myself having to bend down a little to drag my cooler, but this one allowed me to carry with ease just like luggage.

I used one side for all of the drinks. Is a small section in the middle for the alcohol. Left side for the food and on top of the drinks food. Is the ice kept extremely well I was extremely surprised. Lasted two days. The whole weekend we were there with no problem. Nice big wheels very easy to roll. With ease.

I bought a Coleman cooler 8 years ago and the quality difference was undeniably lesser with the one I just purchased. The lid and lid hinges are so flimsy and it barely stays open. It does not take anything to pull the lid open. My eight year old cooler has a very tight seal on the lid. This one does not. There is no way this new cooler will keep food cold for 5 days as advertised. I would not recommend.

I use it to hold my drinks,water, and wine. When I am going food shopping I put my meat inside to keep them cool. It’s big and durable. It’s got wheels and you can grab it by the handle and wheel it around when you need it. Very spacious, heavy duty. Exactly what I am needing for this summer, I will be using it daily!!

It is very sturdy, it has four cup holders built into the cover and can be used as an extra seat to sit on. There is plenty of room inside for cold picnic foods and drinks! The ice keeps everything cold for days if need be! There are also wheels underneath and handles on both sides, so you can pull the cooler or use the handles and carry it.

Its very deep so you could fit 4 12pks of pop and ice in it plus some snacks! This cooler has a drain on the bottom to make it easy to drain the water from the ice when your done. The wheels work great for pulling the cooler around! The handles are great durability to! Very nice cooler would definitely recommend this to anyone!

It really came in handy right away, had a storm that knocked power out for a week. Were able to save a good amount food before everything in the fridge had spoiled. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this cooler since it is slightly larger than our previous cooler but just a tad shorter so it fits on our pop-up trailer in transit so we don't have to find space for it in the car! Can't wait to take it camping with us next month so we can test out how long the ice lasts. I also love the sturdiness of the lid—our old cooler had a message saying you couldn't sit on the lid but this one doesn't and you can feel the difference between the two. Yay for no more yelling at the kids for sitting on it! I was also super excited that there were two handles for pulling it—one for short people like me! My husband gently pointed out that the small handle is actually for picking up both sides at the same time, but I'm just going to pretend Coleman had the short people in mind and going to pull it by the small handle! :)

This is a nice size because you can fit a lot of beverages. It has a handle and wheels so its easy to carry it. It kept my drinks cold the whole time. My other cooler the ice melted within an hour this one the ice lasted well into the next morning. I'm definitely going to buy another one of these for my boat.
