I have had times with a week of no electricity, though that is rare and you can put a block of ice in here and keep food for up to five days. This 50 gallon size will hold seventy cans, so big enough for a picnic assuming 2-3 drinks a person you could have enough for 20-30 people. It will hold 2 liter soda bottles upright. I also travel and one of my trips is often where the food is not to my liking (big group meeting.) I keep fruit and cheese and other foods cool if there is no fridge offered in the hotel room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Cooler [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this cooler this weekend not intending to leave a review because I didn’t really give it a fair chance. We didn’t have ice so we used 3 ice packs only. I also had no cold waters so those were room temperature. The cooler was in my car during the heat and outside in a garage when it was above 80 degrees. The waters were cold when I went to get them out. The ice packs were still frozen solid. It had been at least 10-12 hours. I’m sure it would be even better if we had ice. Even my husband said “that’s a handy cooler”. I also love that it has a 10 year warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Coleman Pro 45-Quart is built tough and delive [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took it for an overnight camping trip, and the ice lasted the whole trip — even with frequent openings. It's sturdy, easy to pack, and holds a lot. Size-wise, it’s perfect for a weekend trip or a big day out. It’s not so massive that it’s impossible to move once it’s full, but it fits a surprising amount — drinks, food, even some taller bottles standing up. One small thing: when it’s completely loaded, it can get heavy, but that’s kind of a given with any good cooler. I’d much rather it be solid and heavy than light and useless. Overall, it’s reliable, solid, and definitely worth it if you need a cooler that can handle real use.

Really, i was surprised how our food stayed cold until tomorrow, especially my baby food Other things I like are the cooler's latch made of stainless steel , easy to open, and close the lead ( means no rust development) Our food stayed fresh, with no bad odor or mold . My husband carries the fully loaded cooler using the padded strap with comfort from our car to the hotel. When the time of cleaning comes. It was so easy for me to do using the drain plug ( is wide and drain fast ) Highly recommend this cooler for anyone who needs these good features .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this cute little cooler that packs a punch in exchange for my honest feed back.. it is huge enough to fit a bunch if beverages and food in it which I like.. it keeps my beverages cold for quite a while however not as long as I liked by the end of the day all the ice started melting..it is very easy to clean and I like the tie down straps it has that it wonderful..my main problem with this cooler is once it is packed and full of ice it is hard to carry or lift I wish it was on wheels to make it easier to take to the beach.. this cooler does have a wonderful padded carry strap but once it is heavy nothing helps.. other than wishing it had wheels this cooler would make for a great day at the beach..

The straps are durable for this thing to be heavy with ice and drinks. I used this for my dad's 75th birthday party to keep some drinks cold. We drained (love that feature on a medium-sized cooler) some water that night, but after 3 days, I still have icy water and cold drinks. Look forward to using this camping, going to the beach, and for my summer side hustle.
